I chose this model because it uses 2 easily replaced AAA batteries. It seems accurate, agreed with my body scale at home and luggage scale at the airport. Lightweight and easy to take with you if you plan to accumulate souvenirs and keep all your bags under the weight limit

I like this luggage scale, it uses a buckle that locks/closes instead of a hook that most other luggage scales these days use. The readings are fairly accurate and stable and varies only a little at times (varies around .5 lbs or less). I tested it on a backpack, and I got the same reading 2 times and the other two readings varied about .5 lb or less. It also uses two aaa batteries.
