I was only going to give it 4 stars, it's kinda runny so it can make a quick mess if you're not prepared. However, after only a couple days of use it dried up my poison ivy rash quick! Despite being thin, it dries fast to a chalky look and overall I'm very happy with the results. Now, just to stay out of the poison ivy....

Very effective in relieving itch from my heat rash. This is the only brand, I could find, that doesn’t have the unnecessary ingredients like guar gum thickening agents. It is a thinner consistency but don’t let that dissuade you from trying it. It provides itch relief and doesn’t further irritate skin with unnecessary ingredients like gums.

This appears to be the original formula, all natural ingredients. There are other brands for sale here that contain strange chemicals, which are probably more recent formulations. I remember this from my childhood, and it works pretty well. If you are familiar with the use of this product, avoid those other brands and buy this one. Those other chemicals are likely not thoroughly tested and may cause skin irritation. I wouldn't take a chance.

Oh, the itching effect is very good.

Came as expected but very runny. Hard to apply without spilling. Have to use cotton applicator or make a mess

THis is my second purchase. Great calamine lotion, thin but dries quickly. Better than most in my humble opinion.

Just the basic ingredients, no added pain killer or fragrance. It helped me so much with my allergic reaction, to my neighbor's herbicide. It calmed my extensive rash down, when aloe vera, castor oil, coconut oil made it worse. The advantage of the iron oxide pink color, helped camouflage the rash on my skin.

Too runny. Are all calamine lotions like this?? I chose this one because it’s unscented but it’s too runny and my toddler can’t sit long enough to let it dry so it gets everywhere :(

Do not waste your money on it.
