The higher beam (brake light) part wasn't much brighter then the lower tail light beam. So people wouldn't see a noticeable difference to know that you're braking. I left a regular bulb in the other side, which showed that the Higher beam (brake light) part of this bulb wasn't actually dimmer then a stock light bulb.My goal here was to make the car brighter and more noticeable. They are bright LED bulbs, but not good for a brake light applicationHad to return them and try a different brand. ### ⭐⭐ Not good for brake/tail lights *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2019* As another customer on here said, the lights for the tail lights are brighter and look great. However, when you hit the brakes, the difference isn't very noticeable. I did a side by side with one of these LED bulbs and the regular bulb. The LED is much brighter for the tail light, but both bulbs were about the same brightness for the brake light. I'll stick with the regular bulbs as difference in brightness is what you want when you hit your brakes.
