I’ve noticed mixed reviews about mushroom coffee, and as a cold brew coffee enthusiast accustomed to strong coffee, I was initially skeptical. However, I must say that this coffee has surprised me. It’s incredibly focused and calming, and it doesn’t keep me up at night, unlike some other coffee options. I couldn’t even detect the jittery effects. For those unfamiliar with espresso coffee, the mushroom flavor can be strong and may require an acquired taste. Nevertheless, I found it enjoyable when I added iced over honey and coconut milk. In my opinion, it’s worth the investment if you’re open to trying something new. I haven’t experienced any stomach issues with it.

Smooth and easy to drink with a mild coffee flavor. I like that it includes a blend of different mushrooms, probiotics, and has less caffeine than regular coffee. It mixes well and is a nice option for a morning drink when you want something lighter. Honestly don't like the smell but it stopped my wifes heart burn.

I’ve been drinking mushroom coffee daily for over a decade and have explored nearly every brand out there — from big names like Lucid, Mud Wtr, and Ryze to a sea of lesser-known generics. So when I came across Venture Pal, I figured I’d give it a shot and see how it stacks up. Taste: The flavor is decent — mild with a touch of boldness, nothing too overpowering. Serving Size & Dosage: When it comes to functional mushrooms, dosage is everything. Over the years, I’ve learned that you need at least 500mg of a single mushroom strain to feel any real effect. Venture Pal lists a long roster of mushrooms, but the total extract per serving is only 120mg. Split between 12 strains, you’re getting maybe 10mg of each — that’s about 2% of the amount you actually need for noticeable benefits. Extract Quality: Another key factor is whether the extract is from the fruiting body — the part of the mushroom with the highest concentration of beneficial compounds. If it’s not clearly stated on the label, it’s often just mycelium on grain or filler-based, which is far less effective. Add to that the low dosage and lack of organic certification, and it’s hard to justify the benefits. Final Thoughts: If you’re prioritizing cost, Venture Pal is definitely one of the cheapest options out there — but that usually comes with a trade-off. I personally prefer high-quality options like Lucid Super Coffee, which provides 2,000mg of mushrooms per serving (with transparent strain-by-strain dosing), plus added nootropics that have done wonders for my memory and focus. All in all, Venture Pal tastes fine, and it might be better than nothing — but if you’re serious about results, always read the label and understand what you’re really getting. With mushroom coffee, the saying rings true: you get what you pay for.

Makes me feel great, doesn’t have too high of a caffeine content, but not an issue for me. My advice would be to make it into cold brew so do one part coffee to 4 to 6 parts of water and then leave it to soak at least overnight. It is bitter if you brew it any other way, but is pretty tasty if you cold brew it!

Writing this early on so I’m gonna come back and edit this after I’ve used it for a few weeks but first day of using it. It’s definitely smelling like a mix of mushrooms and coffee, unfortunately not in an entirely pleasant manner. You can counter the taste with milk or creamer though. I used oat milk and it made it very smooth. There are some chunks even after stirring for some period. Seems to be sitting well with the stomach well though.

I’ve been on the mushroom coffee train for 4 months now. I can’t explain exactly what it is, but this type of coffee gives me a lift unlike regular coffee. It feels like I am drinking my vitamins and coffee at the same time. It’s easier on the stomach, there’s no crash after so I can get by on one cup in the morning, and it’s more filing so I eat my breakfast a lot slower and need less food for energyin the morning. Maybe all day. I tried this brand because my usual one is sold out. I am not surprised. This one has a deep roasted and carmel aroma. It’s really good sweetened. I use coconut sugar and half & half. Now I have 2 brands.

I absolutely love this mushroom coffee. Not only is it affordable but it give me so much natural energy (not jolted) I feel great the whole day and my body felt nourished with many nutrients it has. It smells wonderful when you open the bag however you will smell the mushrooms once put into water (especially hot water) but when you add your creamer it is very smoothe (which if your looking for recommendations I use Starbucks lavender creamer and it blends wonderfully together. Not sponsored.) it will relieve some of the mushroom bitterness. This bag has lasted me for quite sometime, I only drink it once in the morning anyhow but there is no bloating, heartburn, headaches, or belly ache. (Again at least for myself, everyone is different!) also definitely affordable compared to all well known brands. I will be purchasing again!

I have been using this coffee for 5 days, and wasn't sure if all of this is a gimmick or true. I am 62 years old. Today I went to a Senior Event with about 40 people there. I have had issues with forgetting what I was talking about mid-sentence multiple times a day. I also frequently interrupted conversations because I could remember what I wanted to say by time the other person was done talking. For the first time in years, not once did I lose my train of thought mid-sentence nor did I have to interrupted a conversation because I lost track of what I was going to say. I was flabbergasted that it worked and did so after only 5 days. I am SO happy I tried this! I feel like a new person!
