I'd previously been using glucosamine and chondroitin but didn't notice much of a difference, so I decided to give collagen a try instead. Even if it doesn't make a tangible difference to my joints yet, I like that collagen is often associated with supporting skin, hair and nails as well. I know any visible benefits are likely to take a few months, so I'm happy to be patient. One thing I always struggle with when it comes to collagen powders is the odd taste. Thankfully, this one is much milder than others I've had. There's virtually no smell, which is a huge plus for me. The taste isn't completely neutral, but it's subtle enough that I don't find it unpleasant. My personal tip is to mix it into a few drops of a hot drink rather than a whole mug. It dissolves very easily in hot drinks with no lumps, and I find it's much easier to finish quickly that way. I haven't tried it in cold drinks yet, so I can't comment on how well it mixes there.
