We kayaked the Duck River in TN. We intentionally chose this river knowing it was a super easy, slow river with no rapids because we wanted to take our 18month old, and because rental places wont rent to or shuttle anyone under 4, so we needed to be able to access the river publicly on our own.I wasnt sure if he would sit still in our kayaks with us, so I wanted him to have his own float, plus he loves being in the water. After I purchased this float, we tried it out in the pool to make sure there was no chance of it flipping over.Pros:**Size- Our son is big for his age! At least the size of a 2-2.5yr old. He fit in this float with room to spare, including in the leg holes, and he has chunky thighs still! He was also able to fit with plenty of room even while wearing his puddle jumper.**Material/Durability - this is make of a very thick material. Its more like a river raft material than it is a pool float. I had no worries about the float bumping into a rock or stick on the river and getting a hole.**Stablity - we tested it out before the river to make sure, but he sits low enough in this float that there was no way he could flip it over or climb out of it. He was very well and safely contained.**Steering wheel with squeaker horn - this was a plus as it helped keep him entertained while we were on the river for several hours**Handles - thanks to the handles I was not only able to easily attach his float to our kayaks with a water grade rope, but I also used some small paddle leashes to attach his water bottle and a small bucket for him to play with. If he happened to throw it out of the raft, it was attached and we wouldnt have to go chase it down to retrieve it! The handles seem to be very securely attached and after having the rope tugging on them for a few hours on the river, they show no signs of coming off.Cons:**The valve to blow it up is very thick and stiff. In one way this is good because I didnt have to worry about it popping open and loosing air on the river. On the other hand, it made it really hard to blow up by mouth, although it was doable.Please note: we took every precaution in taking our toddler on the river. We did not use the sun shade attachment, but he wore a sun hat. He had on closed toe crocs that wouldn't come off in the water and protected his feet should it get shallow and he kick a rock. He wore a US coast guard approved puddle jumper at all times in addition to being in the raft or on a kayak. The water was colder than we expected so he did not stay in the raft the whole time, we were afraid his legs would get too cold. But he did very good sitting still in my husbands kayak. He had a water bottle at all times to avoid dehydration. and he was attached to our kayaks with a rope in a way that he would not be in danger of getting kicked or hit or flipped if our kayak happened flip, and we could easily pull his raft close if we went through a narrow spot or needed to make sure he avoided an obstacle in the river. And the river we chose was very slow moving and had zero rapids.As long as you make sure your child is safe, I encourage you to take them with you on your fun adventures! Babies can handle a lot more than we typically give them credit for.

I purchased for my 6 month baby. I think it is too big for a small baby. So I put it away and used it for my now over a year old baby and it is much better in size for him. Love the colors and it is strong and durable.

The hood is not an effective sun screen as we thought it would be. It either goes all the way back or all the way forward. There is no in between. Other than that, the grand daughter loves it and it is sturdy and will not tip over!

My daughter kept putting her face in the water and then I got this one. It’s pretty roomy in the seat part and kept her face from being able to reach the water. The sun shade was a little low so would touch her head but whatever.

My baby loved using this when we went swimming! He would press the horn and turn the wheel. When it was too hot we would easily attach the top part to block the sun

Baby was so happy in this floaty. It was easy to inflate, and the sunshade was an added bonus. Used with adult supervision, it was a lot of fun

Good quality inflatable, does not come with a pump though. Had to use an air pump for my tire but somehow it wouldn’t pump effectively. Maybe it uses a special pump?Anyways once you inflated it it’s worth every penny. Sturdy for the little ones and it also comes with a price to block off UV. Wouldve been a 5 star if it was easy to inflate.

Blew up this baby raft to check for damages. Its been 24hrs since I did and it stayed inflated. I havent test it in water yet. The canopy can stay up if both raft and canopy have been inflated fully but right now it looks like the canopy sits a little low and my babies head touch the canopy shes 9months old. I dont know if its because shes not in water and her legs are not in the hole. She might sit lower if shes in water and maybe wont touch the canopy. Inwill update my review in summer when we get to test this.

Wir haben den Schwimmartikel für unseren 9 Monate alten Sohn für den Urlaub bestellt. Haben bereits ein ähnlichen Artikel zuhause, allerdings ohne Dach.Gleich nach dem auspacken ist uns klar geworden, dass er dafür noch ein bisschen zu klein ist. Haben es trotzdem ausprobiert und was soll ich sagen. Wir sind begeistert und freuen uns bereits auf den nächsten Urlaub damit ! Er kommt mit seinen Armen noch nicht ans Lenkrad , aber das Dach ist wirklich super, bietet den nötigen Sonnenschutz und stört die kleinen null.
