What makes the Arc Edge blade different from a straight pruning blade?

The curved profile helps maintain contact with round branches for a smoother, more controlled cut. Combined with Japanese-style fleam-ground teeth and deep gullets, it is designed for fast pruning with less binding.

Can this blade replace a chainsaw for pruning?

For many light to medium pruning jobs, yes. It is a convenient option for branches, limbs and quick yard cleanup when using a chainsaw would be unnecessary or awkward, while still offering more control with a reciprocating saw.

Why choose a 15-inch blade for pruning?

The extra-long blade provides more reach for larger branches, deeper cuts and hard-to-access areas. It can also help reach into trees or around obstacles without overextending the reciprocating saw.

What reciprocating saws are these blades compatible with?

The universal shank fits most major reciprocating saw brands, including DeWalt, Bosch, Makita, Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Skil, Hitachi and Metabo. It is currently not compatible with Ryobi reciprocating saws.

How should I use the blade to reduce binding or breakage?

Keep the blade aligned with the cut, support the branch when possible and avoid twisting or heavy side pressure. The 15-inch blade offers extra reach, but side loading can put added stress on the blade and tang.
