This is not a good matcha. I Have plenty of high quality matcha powders at home and this one is not even close. Bag taste, smell and color.

It’s a good matcha for its price, though I don’t recommend it for people who love a strong rich matcha with a deep umami flavor, I think it’s good for desserts & baking!!

It was not a vivid green color. Disappointing

I was excited to order again because I loved this product before, but the quality has really gone downhill. The matcha is no longer vibrant green and instead looks pale and low grade. Such a waste of money. Lesson learned — always check the latest reviews first.

I’m a regular matcha drinker and I’m used to very high-quality matcha. I ordered this one after reading the positive reviews, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. The color is dull and looks oxidized, which is usually a sign of poor quality or old matcha. The taste is also not good at all and far from what a proper matcha should taste like. I bought the 100g bag and unfortunately I would not recommend this matcha.

This product has extremely low quality. The taste, texture, and color are far below the standard for this price range. I will never purchase it again.

I am a huge tea drinker (black, green, and oolong) and this matcha powder is one of the best I’ve tried. It is floral, fragrant, and tastes like real matcha. It has no bitter aftertaste and dissolves well in both warm and cold water. The color is a vibrant green not like the muddy brownish green I’ve seen in inferior matcha powders. I’ve used it to make both iced matcha lattes and hot matcha and they are equally great. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but you don’t need to use a lot to get the flavor and it is still cheaper than buying match lattes at coffee shops.

It mixes well in both hot and cold liquids and does not clump up. It is a good price for the size of the bag, as it lasts quite a long time. It doesn’t explicitly state the caffeine content, but I notice after my morning latte that I am perfectly energized and have a steady flow throughout the day, with no afternoon crash like I tend to experience with coffee or espresso. I’ve made matcha for friends and family and they have all been decently impressed; I’ve even inspired a few people to purchase Naoki brand matcha for themselves! I like my matcha lattes sweetened so I mix this with milk and add the tiniest bit of agave syrup, and it is the perfect morning pick me up. Definitely try it for yourself!
