I’ve been on a freeze-dried candy kick lately, trying all my favorite candies in a new way. Unfortunately, these sour ribbon candies were a miss. The texture was dry and unpleasant—almost like eating cardboard—and the flavor just didn’t come through. Some candies simply aren’t meant to be freeze-dried, and for me, this was one of them.

These were very sour and very crunchy. Kids love freeze dried stuff but these i think we're to sour. No one really ate them. Shipping was fast and packaging was great.

I love candy and I can’t get over how good some freeze-dried candy is! This is about the 40th freeze-dried candy I’ve tried across many different companies. Some candies just aren’t good for freeze drying. These sour ribbons are PERFECT. They are like candy potato chips (and they aren’t that sour). They are easy on the teeth and fun to eat. One of the times I ate them, I used them to scoop soft ice cream out of the container (you know, like chips and dip). I’m not at all embarrassed about it, and I’ll gladly do it again.

Love the crunchy texture but the flavor is very meh. Not genuine airheads. Not bad but not what I was wanting.
