Out of the box the 15mm worked great. The 22mm, however, was loose and barely scratched the pipe. I ended up putting a strip of plastic behind the pad to shim it out and bring the tines closer to the centre, and then it worked great. My shim was 0.8mm thick and I had to shorten the pad length by a mm or two so it would fit back in. Marginally annoying having to do that to get it to work properly, but then the fix is easy, and it's still worth the cost. I imagine that when it comes time to replace the pads, it will probably need reshimmed anyway, as there's no guarantee that these non-branded replacements will be cut to the same length or the tines bent to the same angle.

These work very well. I fit them in my cordless drill and they quickly clean up 15mm or 22mm copper pipes effortlessly.

Took a very long time to clean the pipe, worked best when run in reverse.

thumbs up on this one had to prep an old copper feed tight to the wall and did a good job where i couldn’t get my handin the space.

Tried to use this on chromed copper pipe thinking from the reviews it would take the chrome off, unfortunately didn't work. Further had to pack it for it to even touch the pipe. Not the smoothest of finishes on normal cooer pipe either. Save yourself the cost and use fine grit sand paper.

Was ok and did the job of cleaning very old and numerous layers of gloss paint off a pipe ready for a new joint. It did blunt the teeth/pins a bit but it was expected as that's not its intended use. I have used it several times since and it noticeably takes longer to clean pipe ends now, its still easer than doing it manually in confined areas.
