Nice, but the plastic ball on the rope is a toy
Its a good size for my pup (6-Month Lab). I am not a huge fan of thin cord with a ball at the end. Might be something for me to get to use to, but I have found it gets snagged in tree branches more than a normal rope. Also, I can't throw as far. As far as the pup, the plastic ball is more of a toy/distraction for her. I find that she wants to play with that more than the retrieve. So we have some training to do.

LIghtweight and Flimsy
I am surprised Real Tree let them put thier name on these. Tey are too light to be thrown into any wind, and too flimsy to stand up to puppy teath for more than 5 minutes unatended. Avery Sport Dog makes the high quality product.

Wish they were more durable
We use the for our German Shepherds and they have more jaw pressure than hunting dogs. So they only last a month

Floating retriever toys
I like that these are floating retriever items, but I stress that they are not sturdy toys. They would be very good for small dogs and perhaps for sporting dogs with soft mouths. My Brittany, for example, fetches these gently, and if he were our only dog, I might never need to replace them. On the other hand, my high energy German Shepherd is just now being trained to retrieve from the water. She grabbed the toy fiercely and promptly retrieved it, but the object was damaged, with bite holes.

not good for dogs that chew bumpers
The cord is great, easy to throw, but they are light, and not sturdy enough for chewy dogs! Works great for me and my dog!

Decent lifetime depending on the dog
My lab loves to retrieve these. The only issue is she loves to chew on them which puts holes in them.

Holds up well to German Shepard teeth
Use in pool for fun with dog. Each one used about hour per day; they last about 2-3 m until there are so many holes they sink. Worth the price
