Stitchy No-Sew Hemming Tool- Easy, Portable, Professional-Grade Tagging Gun for Quick, Temporary Hems on Pants, Skirts, Dresses, and Sleeves

I can’t speak to the longevity of the Stitchy because it just arrived today; however I previously bought a similar green knockoff and it had numerous problems the pink Stitchy has resolved! 1. The green knockoff had a needle cover but it wasn’t attached and was easily misplaced. The needle cover on the Stitchy is attached. 2. The knockoff didn’t come with a travel case which is such a shame. The pink Stitchy comes with the cutest, drawstring travel bag. I use this tool frequently when I’m in trips. 3. The knockoff was hard to refill. After a year the tool broke so it was useless. The Stitchy can be returned if there are defects! The uses for this tool are innumerable- a quick hem, shortening a strap, keeping a collar popped just to name a few. I will be back to update in a few months of use.

Ssurprisingly handy little tool for quick, temporary fixes. The value is solid. It’s much cheaper than tailoring for simple hems and takes only a few minutes to use. Once you get the hang of it, it’s very straightforward and doesn’t require any sewing skills. The stitches themselves are hardly noticeable- either visibly or comfort-wise (can't really feel them). The amount of stitches it comes with seems reasonable. I wouldn’t expect it to replace permanent tailoring, but for travel, last-minute outfit fixes, or testing hem lengths before committing, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Functionally, it holds hems securely for temporary wear and is easy to remove when you’re done, with no damage to the fabric when used properly. However, the stitches are durable- I've washed several items without removing stitches and the stitches held. If you need a fast, portable, no-commitment hemming solution, this tool delivers good value and does the job well.

I was so excited when I bought this product. Since I don’t know how to stitch, I thought it would be a great and quick fix for certain situations. At first, I really liked it. Unfortunately, I was only able to use it about three times before it broke. The needle started shooting out, and no matter how many times I tried to put it back in, it wouldn’t stay. At best, I could get one stitch in before it popped out again. Considering the price of this product, I expected it to be much more durable. Sadly, it wasn’t worth the money.

This is an absolute life saver and something I never knew I needed. Now that I have one, I can't ever go back. I ended up buying one for home and one for the office or travel. Its small and light enough that I can easily throw it in my purse. This original brand is better than the discount ones. I had actually bought a knock off/discount one for my office at first, but the stiches are much larger and you can't get good control. with these, they stitches are small enough that you don't end up with big gaps. They also are small and flexible enough that they don't itch if its touching your skin. You can go back and forth between the black and white stiches (its not like you have to finish one strip before using the next). They also work well for holding stuff together if you are mending. I know that pins exist, but this is easier for me and I won't stab myself. Super easy to do, and absolutely worth the price (even though I do think its a tad expensive, still worth it).

Second one I’ve bought!!! My girls have used their so much that they needed another one!! It’s perfect for all simple repairs. Genius for girls at college!!!

I eyed this for a long time before purchasing and I should have purchased sooner. No more pinning a blouse or strap in place. I also use my stitchy to keep my rolled long sleeves rolled without buttoning. It’s awesome! It lightweight and very easy to use. Fits in my hand and I can take it with me on the go. I mainly use it for single stitches but you could hem a pair of pants in a pinch.

The product is a great idea, and was so helpful, until it completely broke my 3rd time using it! I’m not sure what happened but the needle part broke off and cannot be fixed. Two stars because I want to repurchase for convenience needs; hoping this one was a fluke
