This back massager has it all, lumbar support, vibration, Shizo massage, and heat. There are many settings, so you can use some of the features, all of the features at once, and adjust the intensity of each. It is lightweight and portable,, but will make even the most uncomfortable chair feel like an expensive massage chair. I put it on a wooden chair and you can hear it working, as seen in the video, on a softer chair the sound is much less. Its compact size makes it easy to use anywhere, and you can purchase an adapter separately so you can use it in your car also. It is made well with quality materials and holds up well. It’s great to ease my lower back pain after a day working in the yard.

I picked this up mainly because I wanted something small I could actually move around and use during the day instead of a big bulky massage chair, and it ended up being exactly what I was looking for. It is really easy to use, you basically just drop it on your office chair, plug it in, and you are good to go. I have been using it at work more than I expected because it is so convenient. The heat function is honestly one of the best parts. After sitting for long hours my back usually gets pretty sore and turning the heat on while the massage is going makes a noticeable difference. It helps loosen things up and takes that stiffness away that builds up during the day. Another thing I like is how portable it is. When I am done I can just move it out of the way or bring it somewhere else without any hassle. I have found myself using it multiple times throughout the workday which is something I did not expect at all. It is one of those things where after using it for a bit you start wondering why you did not buy one sooner. I have used Comfier products before and they have always been reliable for me, and this one has been no different. It just works, it is comfortable, the heat actually helps, and for something this small it does a surprisingly good job.

I’ve been dealing with some pretty bad upper and lower back issues, so I’m always looking for ways to get a little relief at home. This Shiatsu neck and back massager turned out to be a great addition to my routine. It's a smaller, more portable style compared to a full seat cushion, but it still delivers a really deep, satisfying massage. I usually use it after long days sitting at my desk, and it definitely helps loosen up all the tight spots in my back. It is a lot smaller than I expected it to be, but it defiantly packs a punch for those that have bad backs.

This style of massager is a huge update and upgrade to the massager I have been using for years. Serving in the Vietnam War, then working as a laborer in construction puting myself through college and then keeping up with school children serving as a teacher - all took a toll on my now elderly body. I have used another style of massager of the same brand to work out the sore kinks in my neck and low back. The problem was that the rollers in my old massager were large and harsh when rolling out my body. I am thankful that these rollers are smaller and have a gentler action. This has a control pad with several buttons. My old massager has one button, but this has buttons to select heat, direction, speed and also vibration, something my old version did not have. I like the minimalist size because it is not heavy, so it is easier to move to the spot that needs work. Since it has a flat back, it stays in position better than my curved back old model. The instruction manual is easy to understand and remember. The cover is a durable, attractive leatherette material. Currently this massager is on sale at a very affordable price. In using this massager, i appreciate that it helps my back and neck feel better. In the massaging action, even though this is a budget model, it would have been nicer to have a way to move the massaging nodes in and out so that both sides of my neck get worked on at the same time. To make up for this, I just move the massager to one side of my neck and then to the other side. With the gentle shiatsu action, I do not bruise like my old massager. There is a cover that can be put of the front of the massager if one wants a gentler massaging action. For me, I just flip it over to the back. The control pad has a long enough cord to operate and the power cord is a standard length to reach a chair easily. I posted a picture of how it fits on my chair. The bottom line is that this massager is great for me since it is small so I can easily sit it next to my chair in my livingroom without taking up a lot of space. Even though there is a card stating that a buyer can extend the warranty to three years, if it works as well as my eight- year- old present massager, you won’t need it. It has been my observation that anything Comfier makes with last for years if not abused. Easy five stars.

Their customer service is top notch & the quality of their products is consistently above average. This particular Neck & Shoulder Massager surprised me as to how light weight it is! I seriously thought they forgot to put it in the box, but it was there along with the power cable & instruction booklet. It's super simple to operate using the remote. It offers a vibration feature with 3 pulsating power settings. There is also an option for heat in 3 temperature levels; Low, Medium & High. The shiatsu roller balls offer 8 modes (4 med & 4 small) which can be set for light pressure, medium pressure or max pressure. The remote offers the option to reverse the direction the roller balls are rotating. The overall design is quite clever. To position the shiatsu roller balls, simply move the entire unit to position it over the areas you wish to massage. The tapered design offers support to the lower back, while massaging the upper back. When it's positioned to massage the lower back, the narrower section offers support for the upper back area. Also, the lights on the remote go from red to yellow to green. Red is the strongest massage pressure, Yellow is a less aggressive pressure and green is the weakest amount of pressure. Yes, you can control pressure to a point by positioning your body and leaning into the massager, but I find this way to be simple & effective. The overall unit, while perfect for my 5'3", 120 lb frame; those with larger frames may find it to be on the small side. The width at the widest point is 13", tapering to 8" wide. From top to bottom, the unit measures 17" long. The sides taper from 4" deep at deepest point to 2" deep, creating a contoured effect, similar to the feeling of being cradled. There is a high quality detachable (Velcro) cover that can be used to cushion the pressure of the shiatsu roller balls. All material is easy to wipe clean with a damp sponge. The light weight of this massager makes it an excellent travel massager. It's also great for the elderly because it's so easy to manipulate. I truly appreciate that it will run for half an hour before shutting itself off. Plenty of time for an effective, relaxing massage! A+++

My Experience & The Problem I purchased this Comfier massager specifically because I was looking for a back and neck massager with soft massage balls, as recommended by a shopping assistant bot. Unfortunately, this product delivered the exact opposite experience. The core issue is simple: the massage nodes/balls are incredibly hard. Performance & Pain I was hoping for a gentle, relaxing experience, but even on the lowest setting and using the provided extra padding flap, the pressure was intense and caused pain rather than relief. "Deep Tissue" Means Hard Pressure: While the description talks about "deep kneading" and "penetrating tight muscles," it translates to hard plastic/rubber nodes digging into your back. If you are looking for anything close to a gentle or soft massage, this is not it. Zero Relief: Instead of easing my tension, using the device left my back feeling bruised and uncomfortable. It felt harsh and mechanical, not therapeutic. Padding Does Not Help: The removable flap made almost no difference in softening the intensity. Pros & Cons Pros: It is well-built and seems durable. Cons: The massage balls are extremely hard and painful. Not suitable for anyone seeking a soft or gentle massage experience. The padding flap doesn't adequately soften the pressure. The product recommendation was misleading regarding softness. Final Verdict This massager might work for people who enjoy incredibly firm, intense, deep-tissue pressure—almost painful pressure—but it is not for anyone seeking a soft, gentle, or relaxing massage. It did not meet my needs at all, and I will be returning it. The product description needs to be clearer about just how firm these nodes are.

Bought this back and neck massager two weeks ago, have been using it almost daily and really enjoyed it. The first impression is that the massager is small but sturdy. I can place it anywhere like a second pillow. I placed it on the sofa next to the arm and with a back cushion under it. The cover material is soft and feels great against the skin. The setup and the operation are really easy, plug it in and use the wired remote to control the massager. The remote is basic but with effective functions: power button, kneading levels, and heat levels. The two kneading nodes are large and powerful. A 10-15 minutes of deep rotating motion effectively melts away some of the upper back and shoulder stress. It also changes the rotation directions so it attacks the tension from different angles. I do need to adjust the position if I want it to work on necks, shoulders, or upper back. The heat is a nice touch - I find it soothing and believe it helps the blood circulation. It turns on quickly and spreads warmth through the massaging area enhancing the relaxing effect. I'm happy with this purchase or what it is for: targeting neck and shoulder tension, no fancy bells and whistles, simple and incredibly effective. And the price is very affordable comparing to some neck massagers I saw in retail stores.

Love the concept of a good massage but this unfortunately could be improved. Needs more movement with the massage instead of the same place. Does help with pain relief but could have a better quality construction.
