I've tried several other laundry strips and these are by far one of my favorites. I was searching for enzymatic laundry strips, one that works well for stains. As a busy hairstylist who does a lot of haircoloring, I feel these work to fade stains, but also helps to prevent the stain/make stain not as bad as it would've been if not using these laundry strips. These actually get your laundry clean. Other brands I've tried don't dissolve well and leave a weird residue on my laundry. And another brand was turning my white towels this faint blue shade. These dissolve easily, even in cold water without any residue or weird texture on laundry afterwards. The non-scented ones do have the faintest of a smell... but it is so light and not overpowering. I don't smell the scent on my laundry once clean and dry. But the strips themselves have a very light scent. I've gone thru half the package now and its lasted me months now and I plan on buying again once these run out.

Go on a journey with me....I am a gym rat and kickboxing instructor and- OH YEA- mother of two; so, there are two things you need to know about my work out clothes:1) They are sweat in A LOT2) They are a wardrobe staple and pull double duty as both GYM and LIFE clothes. Now, when I say I sweat A LOT I don't mean "I don't sweat, I sparkle". I mean "did that woman swim here?". I sweat like a man. There I said it.I've made peace with the fact that after prolonged wear my work out clothes will have to be thrown out because they just start to stink and I can't do anything about it (yea, I'm looking at you sports bras).I was prompted to buy this product when, while sitting at work, I kept getting a whiff of something stale, sweaty, mildewy, and generally unpleasant. I was horrified that the smell was my pants. Not just my work out pants but OF COURSE my favorite pair of transition-to-work black yoga pants. NOOOOOOOOOO!I bought this product because my pinterest won't shut up about it but I was really hesitant because of the reviews - they were very 50/50 "Awesome!" and "meh."Well it was delivered on Friday and I immediately put it to work.RECIPE FOR RESULTS:Cocktail of nasty yoga pants, a shirt I was throwing away because it perma-stank, and about 7 sports bras. Bathtub soak. 6" of water. 3 scoops mean green. 60min marinade.Followed that up with a good ringing but no rinsing, regular wash in the front loader with no detergent (RG or otherwise) and an extra rinse cycle. All these instructions were on the bag. Here's what sold me - MY HUSBAND commented on how much better the clothes smelled after helping me fold the laundry. And I mean if that doesn't say something I don't what else to tell you.IMPORTANT NOTE: Had I just followed the "regular wash" instructions, I wouldn't have gotten the results I needed. I had to follow the "heavy duty detox" instructions. I think regular wash instructions would be good for every day cleaning of clothes that are brand new. Also, I've seen comments about the dirty water not being accumulated dirt and bacteria but dye from the clothes. I found my dirty water to be brown and I soaked a lot of vibrant pieces. To boot, I washed the newly-soaked load with a white towel and the towel came out whiter than it went in.TLDR: Low expectations. Stellar results. Will buy again.THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT UNSOLICITED REVIEW BY A REAL "SAW IT ON PINTEREST" BUYER.

Happy with this
I’ve been using Rockin’ Green Active Wear Laundry Detergent specifically for workout clothes and overall I’m really happy with it. It does a great job removing sweat odors from activewear that regular detergents struggle with, even in cold washes. I also appreciate that it’s unscented, which is perfect for sensitive skin and for anyone who doesn’t like strong fragrances lingering on clothes. The powder dissolves well when used as directed, and a little goes a long way, so the 90-load size feels like a good value. That said, for heavily soiled or extremely smelly items, I sometimes need to add an extra scoop or do a soak to get the best results, which is the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars.Overall, it’s an excellent detergent for gym clothes and sportswear, gentle on skin, and very effective at odor control. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you’re sensitive to scents.

I use this detergent for all of my exercise pants, sports bras, hiking tops and tennis dresses. Works better than other regular detergent.

Gets rid of stinky sweat
My boyfriend runs every day and SWEATS! His running clothes get so smelly and regular detergent just wasn’t getting the smell out. Dried sweat is gross. This laundry detergent does the trick! I’ll never use anything else for his running clothes.

Can't go back
I have used this brand for YEARS. I have insanely picky skin and a highly sensitive nose for any scents. These are truly unscented, leave no trace & deep clean even a filthy mechanic's clothes. I do like to put my clothes to soak an hour or more that way they get a bit more out of it and my washer is running during highest energy saving time. Win for me all around. I have used the powder & the sheets, I like them equally. Ive even gifted this to others who have complained about their laundry. Unless they reformulate and my skin gets mad, Rockin Green has me for life.

It works, but I developed contact dermatitis. Be smart, wear gloves!
I bought this November 2025, so it’s been about 6 months. It definitely works - I use it on my sweaty spandex gym clothes and air dry them, and the odor that used to seep into them is gone.I had no problems for 3 months. There's a little scooper inside, so I’d reach into the bag each time to pick it up and measure out a load. I don’t have sensitive skin. I believe repeat exposure has made me develop an allergy to whatever concentrated ingredients are in here, which is why I suggest gloves and removing the scooper from the bag, or getting one with a longer handle. The first time it happened, I had zero clue. My dermatologist thought it might be something at the gym. The second time, I blamed it on Pilates and stopped going, assuming it was their reformer or the cleaning wipe. The third time, I knew. My fingers started to tingle right after I did my gym laundry. It’s always my right fingers, in the exact spots where they’d brush against the inside of the bag or touch the dusty scooper. It’s unfortunate because I did love the product, but the reactions have worsened in severity, so I can’t trust that I can safely wear the clothes coming out even after a long wash. I think if you take care to minimize exposure, you will be fine. Hope this helps anyone who may be having reactions and is struggling to figure out the trigger!

Magic
I honestly never leave a lot of reviews even when I like what I have ordered. But this stuff is magic. We were getting ready to throw out pretty much my husbands entire wardrobe. This product saved his closed. He washed his clothing with his athletic stuff and all of this clothes smelt like a hockey bag. I tried everything; vintages, baking soda, tide sport. He still just always smelt like a hockey bag. It was bad. I soaked his clothing in three scoops of this in the bathtub then washed them with another scoop and boom everything smelt great! Literally took all the smell away. I was honestly shocked. I didn’t expect it to work so well. There was one T-shirt that I thought no way we could save. Even that one smells great now. The water in the tub was brown after… barf. No damage or colour issues. I put everything in together; darks, lights and athletic stuff. Everything still looks great. Seriously if you need something like this buy it now!

Fabulous Stuff….saves buying new gym wear!
I bought this as my Hot Yoga clothes were starting to smell really weird and funky…despite always washing them as soon as getting back from my workout. After much googling and searching, I got this fabulous stuff!I popped ALL my workout clothes into a load and wore one set yesterday and the smell has totally GONE!!!I thought it was quite expensive at first glance for what is essentially laundry powder but this stuff really does work.

Great for soccer wear and helps with cat pee(!)
This works well for workout wear, especially with an initial soak, for those looking for a more natural product. It has a subtle pleasant tea tree scent. I haven't noticed significant fading or fabric damage. I've recommended this detergent to fellow soccer players, and they're also sold on it, too. *The key is the soak.*As an added bonus... I've also had success combining this detergent, which is enzyme-based, with Odormute powder to remove cat urine from clothing and bedding. My technique is to do an initial quick rinse and spin cycle with cool water then do a looonnnggg (multi-hour) soak using a combo of Rockin' Green and Odormute in warm (not hot!) water, followed by a spin down (no rinse). I hang the fabrics and allow them to dry fully then do a full wash cycle with the Rockin' Green, this time with a rinse. I hang to dry again and ~75% of the time the odour is gone. In the majority of cases where there was some residual odour after round one, a second round has taken care of it. I've had a lot of difficulty finding products for cat urine that were fabric safe but effective, especially without a strong residual chemical/artificial odour, so this combo has been a Godsend in my household of territorial cats with kidney/bladder issues. The tea tree is too subtle to mask anything, so you can tell if the treatment has been successful as soon as the clothes have dried.
