First device had a spot of dirt but was very quickly resolved by the vendor! Excellent customer service. New item was shipped right away! Review on the optics are fantastic. The device is easy to focus and works well to spot while shooting out to 25 yards. Will get it out to the longer range next week and update the review more. Build quality : excellent strength and feel. The device is well built and a sturdy device that can take a beating. Have kept it hanging on a bag for a week and it’s been giving some serious bumps. It is staying clear and easy to see/focus.

It looks well made and comes with a lot of pieces (mostly for the phone camera adapter). Optics are so-so, but what do you expect for this kind of money? It's also bigger than I imagined. It is not clear to me what this saves in weight and bulk over a good set of binoculars. I compared it to my good binoculars (https://www.amazon.com/Pentax-UP-8x25-WP-Binoculars/dp/B00SKO44VY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1533577726&sr=8-2&keywords=pentax+binoculars+for+adults+compact&dpID=41e6ViQZOFL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch). The image in the binoculars is much sharper, but this unit maybe good enough for uses where great detail is not needed. Because of the 12X magnification, you cannot hold it steady enough by hand to get a decent image. Consider getting a monopod to go along with this. The monopod makes the image much steadier and clearer.

I bought this for when im on the boat looking around or in the deer stand in low light morning or evening hours. Its not as much like night vision as review had said, as expected, but I will say that it produces a very clear sight even in very low light and it's easy to adjust the focus. I also like the telescoping eyepiece. I havent tried the phone thing and the clip doesnt seem to fit around my phone case but I likely wouldnt be using that anyway. I'd say it's a great buy especially for the price.

Small easy to store. Quality is good. Little hard to focus ergonomically. I prefer binoculars. Maybe if I was a one eyed Pirate I would like this better.

I guess I am too fussy. The focus is unforgiving - it must be exact for for a clear image, and changing the distance even a few feet requires changing the focus.So I gave it to my 9 year old grandson. He loves it.

Monocular Telescope is perfect for my birdwatching and my squirrel watching and my chipmunk watching I sit on my screen in porch and I look out into the woods and I can see the squirrels and the birds and the chipmunks and anything else perfectly clear what a nice gift to myself and the price was so reasonable.

This looked like a good purchase and it’s not expensive but it’s total crap. It’s impossible to find and keep it in focus. I’m Not sure if it’s just mine or if they are all this way, but the image is skewed as is the objective lense isn’t mounted/secured perfectly straight. I know you get what you pay for and this is a perfect example. Spend closer to $100 and you’ll likely get something much much better.

Nice and cheap. Works for what I needed it for. The only thing is the focus knob is a little wonky.

Just received the monocular. Everything arrived in good shape. The tripod is a little lightweight ( read no so sturdy), but since I was not expecting a tripod at all, it is appreciated. The rest of the gadgets are in the same vein, impressive, for the price I paid. The Monocular is clear, easy to focus with good lighting. I have not taken it outside yet, that will happen next week. For the price, this is a good buy. There is NO night vision at all, you know this because this unit is UNpowered. From my initial viewing, it captures a lot of light and the image is quite bright.

Great product for the price! Compact size, easy to carry. The lense cap has a rubber ring so it stays on the body, no need to worry about losing it! Magnification is fantastic. Great for bird watching. Lense is adjustable for glasses or not. Accessories included are perfect. Tripod, lanyard, and the phone adapter. Phone adapter was easy to use, it is a bit hard to align if your camera is not flush with your phone. Pic in review was taken without phone adapter. Exactly what I was looking for.

Impossible to attach phone to properly.... not easy to use . Ok if you want it just to walk around with and see things but zoom is not 12x50 .says right on it. I would return it but it came the day I was leaving for a trip and won’t be back for a while ... prob end up as a toy for my kid.

Well first off there’s no night vision about it unless you’re looking at something bright enough like a light you can’t see anything in the dark Yes you can see stars and the moon and stuff but that’s it and secondly the tripod camera set up piece It’s hard to figure out in regards to where to put it and how to angle it so that your phone doesn’t just throw it off kilter the tripod is garbage and cannot support the weight of the monocular and my phone so it’s useless for taking steady pic/vids However having said all that the monocular itself is actually pretty amazing I don’t know if you’re quite accurate on exactly how far you can see and how good you can see those things but it does go quite far and yeah like I said it’s awesome it’s just the tripod and camera connecter piece are basically useless
