This Bluetooth speaker has decent sound. It's not amazing, but it works well enough for us at the beach where we don't want it blasting too loud anyway. We keep it just loud enough for us to enjoy without annoying fellow beach goers. This is very easy to pair via Bluetooth -- and once I did it once, it pairs immediately with my phone every time I turn it on. It's easy to charge via USB cable and the battery life is long. I have not had it die on me yet. I use it however long I want and then plug it in to recharge when I'm done. I like that this has a convenient carry strap. All in all, this is a decent Bluetooth speaker though I do not think it's exceptional. At nearly $100, it's overpriced so I had to take off a star for that.

This is so fun and loud and the colors are so bright! The battery life is really long and it’s super easy and fast to charge. Very easy to use and it’s a really great size. Absolutely love it.

This is a cool speaker! It's been awhile since I tried a new brand, and I was pleasantly surprised with the sound, overall build quality, and extra features at such a nice price point!I had a little initial trouble connecting to bluetooth, the instructions were clear as day but my brain wasn't. It helps a lot if you actually turn it on (haha) before trying to connect bluetooth! Once I realized my embarassingly silly mistake, it was smooth sailing. The instruction pamphlet tells you how to navigate if you're having a bad brain day or are technologically challenged, but the controls are clear too.It sounds good for one single little speaker! It's sturdy and feels solidly built too, including after our great dane tail-knocked it onto hardwood by entering the livingroom with a tad too much enthusiasm. The speaker has a good center of gravity and my lab could never have knocked it off, the dane just does these twisty jump-wags that are lethal for anything or anyone in the vicinity. Speaks to it's quality that it didn't sustain any damage.It has 4 modes and I love that one uses a memory card. The lights are a fun touch that I enjoy more than I'd expect. I saw in the pamphlet that it can connect to other Zealot Bluetooth speakers, which I'm highly likely to try in the future. Besides sound quality, being able to link to other speakers is my second most important feature I look for, probably followed by overall build quality.This speaker hits all the marks for me, and while I won't be replacing my main set of speakers with this, it's a fraction of the price of my fancy ones (25% of their price) and that makes it an awesome value. I will likely use this when I need a more portable option, because even with only one the sound has pretty great depth and good battery life.Highly recommend!

This speaker is very easy to pair with the bluetooth menu on your phone - just select "Zealot xx". When I have the volume turned all the way up on both the speaker and my phone I max out at about 89dB about 12" from the speaker and play rock music (Blink 182). Maybe it's a little louder with metal band music, but not sure on that. At any rate, the sound level is good enough for my needs for outdoor in the backyard.This has the ability to play media from a USB or micro sd and comes with a charging cable and aux cable. It also came with a carrying strap for easy portability. While it does have an LED light on each end of the speaker that changes with the music, you can also turn them off so you don't have any lights by double clicking on the symbol that has 2 linked squares.Overall I really like the sound quality, water resistance for outdoor use, and ease of pairing. At the time I ordered, this was listed at just under $100 which I think is extremely expensive even for a water resistant speaker. That's the only reason I am deducting a star.
