Muc-Off Mechanics Gloves

Once they’re on you feel like you know what you’re doing.

Although on the expensive side I am impressed with their durability and quality without compromising on feel or dexterity a very good set of garage or mechanics gloves.

I will admit that they are good to use although my hands are between medium and small so either side is not a perfect fit. I don’t think they give value for money when local hardware stores do better fitting ones for a fraction of the price.

Good quality and a great price.

I'm an ex mechanic who still dabbles. I hate wearing gloves for anything intricate because I can't feel what I'm doing. Latex or rubber gloves are too hot and hands perspire which then fills the gloves with moisture which makes the gloves useless. But protecting our hands is important to avoid cuts and damage, also to make cleaning up easier. So I thought I'd try these. The palm and fingers are grippy rubber the backs elastic fabric which "breathes". They great, comfortable to wear for hours. They protect well from metal fragments and grip better than oily fingers and can be wiped clean with a clean paper towel quickly if you are going from a dirty job to clean. Yes my hands were hotter than without but not too much. They are tougher than expected and are still after a few weeks in "as new" condition. When the jobs done take them off and hands are considerably cleaner than without. Would I buy again, definitely I would.

Do the job, very strong

Good gloves on the whole, not restricting and allows for a lot of feeling as they're thin but logos came off within 5 mins. Will see how they last, not keen to pay £8 every few weeks.

I love these gloves and wouldn't be without them. They're comfortable and breathable which is a huge plus versus layer gloves. I find I can put these on with wet hands after a wash and my hands still dry out with them. They offer great sensitivity aswell. They don't entirely shield your hands from grime though, I always need to wash at the end of the day but it's just a quick one. Also I've gone through 2 pairs in three months, but I use them every day.
