Good but I’d go with reptichip or coco husk. Holds humidity with a ceramic for about 2 days and then you have to constantly keep on top of it. Once it dries it becomes very dusty so could cause respiratory issues if not humidified.

BEWARE WOOD MITES! Never used this before and would never buy again. After using this for my snake’s bedding, I spotted white mites crawling on her. She’s never had mites before and hasn’t been near any other snakes or reptiles to catch mites from them. The only difference in her routine was using this new bedding. I checked inside the bedding packet more closely and saw tiny live Wood Mites in small clusters inside. I looked it up and it said Wood Mites thrive in damp/old wood and can survive in plastic wrapping for quite some time, so the mites can be a common problem when buying wood-based substrate. Had to buy new bedding from a different supplier and thoroughly disinfect the cage and bin the rest of this bedding I had left. I wouldn’t risk buying it again!

One thing I disliked was that when I opened the package I coughed alot after so there was lots of dust and I used this product to put in a tank for a pet tortoise I'm getting

Cool pour orner le terrarium de ma tortue d'hermann afin qu'elle puisse se ressourcer dans la nature aha car le reste du temps elle se balade dans l'appartement, elle y bronze, prends ses repas et se repose mélangé avec des copeaux d'hêtre sur une partie de son habitat à côté c'est du substrat de coco. Ça semble lui plaire alors je suis satisfaite.

This was a much smaller bag than I thought but it did the job . this mixture is the perfect type of bedding for my tortoises ! they absolutely love it
