Does this have color mixing? I am buying it for my grandfather and he doesn't like mixing colors

Yes. If you don’t want to mix colors then use any paint by numbers made by Plaid.

mine came on a wrinkled oiece of canvas. not a board. how can I get rid of the creases?

If you bought a Dimensions brand kit and it came on a regular canvas instead of canvas art board, then I hate to tell you, you bought a fake. No Dimensions or PaintWorks kits are on canvas. There are a few companies out of China that will pirate the licensed images from high-quality brands such as Dimensions/Paintworks, but they never have the detail or correct colors, or quality paints as the original as they are run through pirating software that can't copy with the same detail and read the colors correctly. In addition, the paint quality from these types of scam companies never will include quality paint. Sorry, you got had by one of those Chinese "companies" that thinks nothing of scamming and pirating.

Is this a thin painting ?

Not sure what you mean about "thin painting". It turns out to be a very beautiful painting that fits in a regular frame with glass over it. Don't know if this helps you or not.
