I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy this phone holder is. Once it’s in place, it feels solid and holds my phone securely without wobbling. It seems well made and durable enough to last a long time. The main reason I chose this model over others is that it still allows you to use the cup holder for a drink, which is a feature I really appreciate. I didn’t want to give up a cup holder just to mount my phone, and this design solves that problem perfectly. I also didn’t want to have to stick anything to my phone. Overall, it’s a well built holder that does exactly what I hoped it would. I’m very happy with this purchase.

They are pretty nice. I wanted to reclaim my cupholders in the car and those vent mounted phone holders suck. I didnt want it on the dash and then I came across these. the cup holders are bigger that what came in my charger as well. I was able to fit 2 in the car because of the available adjustments on them. My GF is happy because my old one that broke was in the cupholder on her side because I could not make it far enough from me to use in my cup holder. It always felt kind of selfish but I needed to be able to reach the phone. Not anymore. We will see how they hold up.

I rarely write a product review unless the item is really bad or really good. This is awesome! It replaces the cup holder it took up, with a slightly larger size (for my Chevy Trax), and hold my old but good Garmin Nuvi 50 GPS well, with room for the power cord. Nicely engineered!

I love this phone holder. I didn't want anything that would obstruct my vision while driving and I needed one for the cup holder, but I didn't want to lose a cup holder. This is the best of both worlds. It is a cup holder and a phone holder. It is very durable and has a great fit. I can go hands free when I am in the car and can talk to my phone and my car to do what I need to do while I drive. It can even hold bigger cups, and it is adjustable.

*** UPDATE: Although I figured out how to secure the bottom / adapter part that sits inside the cup holder, I still cannot upgrade my review beyond 3 stars. Unfortunately, the cradle did not hold my phone securely and when any sized cup or bottle is in the holder, the phone cradle impedes on it making it difficult to pick up or put down while driving. While the quality of the materials is very good and assembly rather easy, I’m returning this item. The adapter part that sits inside the cupholder does not fit snuggly, and the cupholder piece is very large. Large enough to hold one of those big Stanley tumblers, which I do not use. Because of this, it’s very top-heavy with or without a water bottle inside and/or your phone mounted into the holder. And when the phone is mounted into the holder, the wobble factor becomes very distracting, which cannot happen while operating a car.

It is made out of fine materials, but shaking absorption mechanism is inefficient. It shakes a lot event at slow speeds.
