is grit dusty? Using for different application.

Have used Manna Pro products for decades - especially Calf-Manna for show horses.  For this grit, depending for what other application you are using - you can always scoop some out and rinse it. Whatever fines are in the bag is good for the ground. I use it with alpines or succulents so it doesn’t matter if there are fines. And it isn’t dusty like it will blow up in your face or anything. But as I say, you can always dump in wheel barrel and rinse off and let dry if using for something besides garden or poultry.  There are other brands called Cherry Stone (manufactured TCC Materials) is a quartzite product - little rosy color - have 4 sizes (1/26”-3/8”)and one size called Traction instead of destructive de-icing salts. See the TCC Materials website. They talk about people also using it in aquariums, crafts, etc because of the color. Never used it but certainly have Manna Pro’s  grit.

But I want to say - you can buy this same brand for under $9/25 lb. at any Tractor Supply (1700 stores/40 stores), Southern States Coop (1200 stores/21 states), many hardware and tons of farm/feed stores, Petsmart, even Walmart . If you go to the Manna Pro website, you can find a location based on your zip and save you a bunch of money. But there are local brands even cheaper. Same deal buying crushed oyster shell for laying hens to strengthen their shells - Manna Pro’s crushed oyster shell in 50 lb bag is under $10 at Tractor Supply. Get out, visit your local feed and farm supply store. You’d be surprised at the fun, and the money you can save.
