I'm surprised to be happy with this product! I live in an 1875 farmhouse with well water, and I suspect that our toilet might be from 75 years ago - it uses thirty thousand gallons of water every time you flush, and is slow and noisy. To add to the misery, the bowl is very difficult to clean under the rim, and for some reason the toilet was growing some kind of mildew or mold under the water line within days of cleaning it (with bleach).I grew sick of being embarrassed by surprise guests who wanted to use the toilet, as it would look like I went months between cleanings. REALLY gross! As a last resort, I bought this product. It contains one tab, and you place it in the water tank. It treats the water with bleach, and so every time you flush it spray bleachy water under the rim and throughout the bowl, and then the water that sits in the bowl between uses also contains bleach.You guys, the BOWL IS CLEAN. There is no more mold or mildew or whatever that horror show was. I can clean the toilet like a normal person, once a week, and it takes the normal amount of time. That impossible-to-reach area under the rim is 75% less stained than it was. I still can't get to it (and maybe you sit at your toilet with q-tips, but I draw the line there) so it's still not sparkling white, but it looks NORMAL.Even better, it doesn't smell like a hotel laundry room and knock us out every time we flush! I actually haven't noticed any bleach smell at all! I'm very happy.

I bought this as well as another product that comes in a package with 8 tablets, to help control the ring/discoloration in the toilet bowls, in a home with 3 toilets total. It's doing the job well. The price has gone up by almost $2 since I bought it, though. But if it truly lasts for 2000 flushes it may be worth it, although the cheaper 8 tablets are also working well. The tablet gives the toilet bowl a chlorine/bleach odor which is noticeable but not objectionable.Would I buy it again? The jury is still out, I have to see how it lasts compared to the other product. But so far it's doing the job!

I ordered this product for an old toilet that always seems to have a mold problem. I cleaned the toilet best I could and tossed this in the back of the tank like the directions say to do and I haven't seen a spot of mold since! It worked fabulously.I figured if this product worked so well I could order another product of the same variety but the kind that turns your water blue. I only did this because this blue product came in a two pack and was cheaper. BAD IDEA. The blue product not only turned my water so dark blue it was sort of disturbing, but it didn't work! The black mold came back. I immediately got back on Amazon and re-ordered this and haven't seen mold since.It worked so well I set this up on a recurring delivery every few months so I don't even have to worry about ordering again and won't ever have to look at that nasty black mold.Highly recommended!

Just received a few days ago, so it is still being used. Unfortunately it is only a single tablet and apparently not very well packaged as the tablet was broken in pieces when received. I dumped all the pieces into the tank and it does seem to be working, but since it was broken, it might not last as long. If you flush more than 3 times daily you might not smell it as much. It does have a bleach scent, so if you are someone who doesn't like bleach smell, it might not be for you. But for me, a slight bleach smell has always meant clean.

I have been using this product for twenty years! I highly recommend, it is the best!

one tablet came in the box. that is way too expensive for that. i wont purchase it again
