This is a wonderfully rich oil that absorbs into dry skin. I live in Palm Springs, where it is VERY dry, so the skin really suffers. This has helped alleviate flaking on my face in the wintertime, and I love the way it feels on my neck, chest, and arms. NO itchy skin! The quality of the bottle I received is on par with anything I would buy at Whole Foods. This can also be added to hair conditioners, face masks, or as an essential oil carrier. I added an essential oil blend I use, and its perfect for me. I use apricot oil in the summertime, which is very light in the 100 plus degree temperature; I think avocado oil will feel too heavy then, but would totally recommend it to anyone who needs a remedy for dry skin or hair. It doesn't feel too heavy right now in winter, but remember that a little bit goes a long way.

I use natural oils for skin and hair care. This brand is very good and the only one I buy. I can count on good quality and the oil performing as expected. The packing was really good as the bottle had extra wrapping to prevent leakage.

I apply this safe natural oil after showers and it soaks in well, leaving my face really soft for far longer than commercial products. Given that more and more ingredients in commercial products are found to be unsafe, I'll opt for 100% natural anyday. Being a cancer survivor, when I read that parabens are found in almost all breast cancer tumors, I tossed my paraben-containing high-priced moisturizer - replacing it with this oil. Years ago, I used apricot oil around my eyes and now at age 66 have almost NO wrinkles, so I know how effective these high quality oils can be. Only drawback is that since they don't have preservatives - they go ransid - so I plan to replace it at about 6 months.

Few people know that Avocado oil is really good for the skin, especially for collagen. This is cheap and really good. Only complaint is that the fancy "no-drip" nozzle (similar to what you might find on a modern ketchup bottle) forces you to squeeze out more oil than you need. So I give it a 4, not a 5. Because 5 should be pretty darn close to perfect. So, the oil is a 5, but the whole package is a 4.

I purchased this because I ruined my hair from over bleaching and toning and then dying once again. I read that vitamin E could restore hair so I decided to give this a try. And now I will be forever grateful! I have very thick long coarse curly hair so I used almost the whole bottle the first time. I left it on over night and then used a deep conditioner to wash it out. This saved my hair! I wouldn't recommend using this much if you have thinner shorter hair. In fact now, I only use a few squirts when it's wet and comb through and wash it out the next day. It has done wonders for my hair. I also started using a sulphate free shampoo and conditioner which as helped immensely.

I've been hearing great things about avocado oil and I decided to give it a try. I just started using it on my hair and skin. So far what I can say is I love the texture of it and it soaks into my skin. Love aura cacia products. Try their sweet almond oil.
