Color is beautiful and so gentle on scalp & hair.

I don't know what happened but this permanent gel color is not a gel anymore and started to smell like ammonia. Not in the beginning when you apply it to your hair and after you prepare to wash it, you can smell ammonia very strong. The consistency no longer looks like a gel and looks exactly like other permanent hair colors.I am so disappointed, it was the best brand and permanent gel color, I will look for another brand without ammonia.

Very good ingredients, but the only downside is that it's hard to scrub off. Sometimes I even have to wash my hair multiple times to remove stains.

I've used a lot of different hair color products, but they either changed my grey redish orange or did not cover it at all, or only worked for a short amount of time that it seemed I was coloring my hair more often than I should. I read the bio on this product liked what it read with a money back gaurantee and ordered it (plus it had such a good deal 4 boxes averageing less per box at the drug store). First time using it I was impressed in how well it covered the little whispy hard to coverer gray at the temple and by the ear. For those are the first to go grey washing the face and water splashing in that area. To my amazement the color held (and so did the rest of the hair for some of the styling products I use have some sort of healthy oil base in it) as the package promised and I receive more compliments on how healthy and shinny my hair looks that I never received using any of the Drug Store perchased hair color or even the "Beauty Supply" perchased hair color and that;s why this proiduct receives the highest rating possible.

Works well and saves a lot of money over going to hair salon.
