Superstar Creators Jason Aaron and Steve Dillon's grisly, uncensored Punisher run is collected in one oversized volume! The Mob has set a trap for Frank Castle, turning low-level enforcer Wilson Fisk into a fictional 'Kingpin of Crime' for Frank to t Review: A beautiful character study of the Punisher and one of the best adaptations of Bullseye ever - This is a masterpiece. It is the full 22 comics and a christmas special done by Aaron in the MAX universe where there are no superpowers. Punisher ages in real time so he is the Vietnam Vet and easily a pensioner by now. That doesn't stop him from being a force of nature and one of the scariest heroes in the Marvel world. The story without spoilers is about the rise of the Kingpin from the old crime families and Punisher's mission to take down the Kingpin. The focus of the stories go back and forth between the toll the war takes on Punisher and Kingpin and then the other side is Punisher's fights against the various assassins. The real pinnacle for this is when Bullseye comes into the story. Lacking the powers of being able to hit anything with ridiculous rebound shots etc Bullseye is just crazy. Really crazy, so crazy it makes me fathom however anyone who isn't on twelve anti psychotic medications even came close to this mindset. He is frightening and maddening and works as a device to peel away the layers of Punisher that no one else sees until we get the main point of Punisher... what happened on the day his family died. The actual push of the story is looking at Punisher. We see how he is coping with the strain of his war into his pensioner years. We look at how he takes on the Kingpin, faces assassins and what kind of man he is. I want to avoid spoilers but Punisher isn't the good guy here. He is just trying to kill the mob and in many ways he is worse than the people he goes after with exception of Bullseye. We watch as layers of Punisher are peeled back and the terrible truth of what kind of person he is are revealed. It is a sublime character study in a grounded world of ungrounded people. **** small point. This is quite a long omnibus and something to be taken at pace. Don't buy it on prime because it will cost you almost 1/3 more and you won't be reading it that fast anyway so time isn't of the essence with this comic Review: M Rated Punisher - A slightly different perspective on The Punisher where there are no heroes ... just the lesser of evils but I like it. Great artwork and an excellent story. 8/10

Great Compilation of Punisher
Lots of good things I could say about this treasury of stories but I think it's better for you to buy it and form your own conclusions.

Punisher Max by Jason Aaron & Steve Dillon Omnibus
Alle Punisher Fans sollten also getrost zugreifen. Kaufen!
