Most adorable bedtime book for little ones
Can't say enough good things about Ten Little Night Stars. Have bought this as a gift for both boys & girls along with star- patterned pajamas. The book has a soft padded cover & gorgeous, colorful illustrations. Sweet rhyming poems as each star (1 through 10) is added to the night sky as baby animals prepare for their bedtime routine ... from brushing their teeth to being tucked in with a good night kiss. Lovely way to introduce a bedtime routine, count numbers, and make a child feel safe & loved. A story that could be read over & over again for several years. Think the book would be most appreciated by children above the age of 18 mo. - 2 yrs. when their vocabulary is starting to build. For those younger, the lovely illustrations are enough to get the ideas across.

Best children’s book I’ve read to my granddaughter in ages
Best children’s book I’ve read to my granddaughter in ages! A truly heartfelt message, each page is filled with fun, rhyming sentences, which help us establish our evening routine (including praying) all while teaching her to count to ten! Perfect for little ones of all ages. Plus gorgeous illustrations throughout! Bright and colorful, adorable animals & beautiful illustrated scenes! It’s definitely my granddaughter’s new favorite bedtime story! She enjoys naming all of the animals on each page while also counting the stars in the evening sky portrayed thru an open window. Just a wonderful, well thought out and fun to read children’s book. Your little ones (& you!) will love it!

Beautifully made and illustrated book
This is one of the most beautiful books in my 1 year old grandson's library. The covers are heavy and slightly padded, giving an impression of superior quality. The interior pages are sturdy and adorably illustrated. Each of the cuddly baby animals and their parent lead your child through a simply worded bedtime routine, as well as counting the stars appearing in the sky through the bedroom window. There are a lot of details on each page, and my grandson loves identifying all the items in the rooms as well as counting the stars. (He can't say them yet, but he rapidly learns what they are and will point to each thing when we ask) This is a book well worth adding to any young child's collection. For grandmothers out there, I would also recommend this book. The exceptional quality is similar, and it's a darling tale of a grandma's love and hopes for her grandchild.Grandma Wishes: Children's Board Book (Love You Always)

Gorgeous
My 2 year and old and I love this book. The pictures are simply gorgeous, with beautiful vibrant colors, lots of things to look and point at, and a wonderful rhyme. My son gets excited about every page. A lot of people seem perturbed about the "praying to heaven" part, but even though we don't pray every day I think that giving thanks and reflecting on things one is thankful for before bed is probably something all of us should do! I definitely don't feel like this book pushes "religion" in any way though obviously everyone is different. Very highly recommend! It is a go-to for bedtime in our house.

Hidden gem!
I am surprised this book does not show up at the top of search results, it is truly a great book! Beautiful illustrations, great for identifying various animals, objects and of course learning counting! The storyline is cute and perfect for bedtime!

Nice rhyme and pretty illustrations
We took this book out from the library first, but my kids loved it so much that we had to buy our own copy, and it’s now a bedtime favorite! The illustrations are so vivid and colorful that they’re totally irresistible, and the poem is fun and soothing. It does have the line “I close my eyes and say my prayers” which might be a good or a bad thing for you- we aren’t religious so I read “I close my eyes and think good thoughts” instead and it works fine. Overall, a lovely story and a great addition to the bedtime lineup!

includes phrases "heaven" and "praying"
I didn't realize that there are pages in this book about saying their prayers and stars up in heaven. My son loves this book though so I give it 4 stars, and I just change the words when I read it to him
