A friend of mine was suddenly into YouTube videos of step classes. Okay, fine. She encouraged me to buy a step. Well, which one? She shared a link. I went into "research mode" trying to read online reviews and decide which to purchase. I noticed immediately that some were more pricey, and some had comments about the level of sturdiness. This concerned me because I'm not exactly a slim woman and I'm tall. So I surely wanted something that would stand up to a full step class, something that would stand the test of time, and something that wouldn't slip around!! Well, overall, I still came back to this step. The same one my friend suggested. GREAT price, and well--when it was delivered--I was thrilled that it was exactly what I expected!! (Should have trusted my friend after all!) It's GREAT! Sturdy. Can store under my bed in the guest bedroom. NO assembly required! The extra "boosters" for the step store right underneath and stay clicked in. I love it. It's nice and long (but not TOO long! which was a concern, for storage). I'm not kidding. I have no reason to say this. For such a reasonable price!?? I'm delighted with my purchase. I feel like it will last and I am enjoying it very much!

I use this almost every day and I like it, but I can't use the risers to make it higher because I need them to prop up the area in the middle (there are ridges there that will keep the extra risers in place as long as you don't lift up the step). Before I reinforced the middle of the step with the risers, I had to make sure to step only on one end or the other because stepping in the middle (where you logically SHOULD be stepping) would cause the unsupported part to squeak loudly in a way that made me afraid that it would break soon.Now it feels pretty sturdy, but I have to be contented with the original very low height and just do more steps instead of higher ones. It has really helped my chronic hip and knee injuries though! When I first got it I could barely climb a few normal stairs one foot at a time and now I can often climb a whole flight with no trouble. I have also been doing other exercises so I can't assign all the credit to this step, but it has been really helpful. It was definitely worth the money.

This works well for calf raises, aerobic stepping, triceps dips, and even as a children's exercise bench.For calf raises I set it on the lowest setting and it is very stable. Feels like it is the perfect height to get a full range of motion in the exercise.For aerobic stepping, it is a really nice size. I don't have to worry about stepping wrong and injuring myself. I wear a men's 9 1/2 and it is plenty big for me. I also love that I can change the difficulty of the workout by increasing the height.For triceps dips, I feel like the 8 inches is a good height. It is easy to hold onto.As an added bonus my 3 year old can use it for bench press with light or foam dumbells 😁

I've only used it in the highest position, but it works great for doing my step exercises. I'm 190 lbs, and it creaks a little when I step on it but seems plenty sturdy, so I like it. I'd buy it again if need be.

I got this stepper for my birthday to use with youtube and do at home workouts. I hadn't used a stepper in over 20 years before I got this one. I saw a tip in a previous review to get the XL size and I'm glad that I did. This stepper is sturdy (I'm plus size), and I haven't had any issues with it. The risers are not too tall and it feels sturdy even after two months of moderate use. This is a great inexpensive addition to my growing home fitness arsenal and there are tons of beginner stepper youtube videos you can use it with. Get it!

I was a bit skeptical on the sturdiness of the Step but having received the Step and worked out on it, I am extremely happy.
