How It's Made The phone case and phone ring/kickstand are handcrafted individually by Brass Paper Smith. Each case and phone ring take 3 days to complete, from sanding the case & ring, to pouring first layer of acrylic, followed by layers of glitter and acrylic over. This process alone takes 2 days to complete for each layer to set in between. The final layer of high-gloss protector is then poured over the case to make the phone case ultra-glossy and to prevent scratches. Every layer of acrylic and protector is casted with a special mold on the phone case to make sure the edges are perfect. The dual layer acrylic with glitter in between creates a transparent depth for lights to be reflected from more angles hence making the surface sparkles like diamond. Every layer of glitter sets differently, making each phone case unique on its own. Glitter sets in different angles catches light and reflects to eye and camera differently. The phone case has multi-dimensional glittery & holographic effects that change color when viewed from different angles and lighting.
