I am pleased with this purchase. It is a space saver as well as stylish for my room. I like the mattress and the texture. Comfortable and easy to use. I hated putting it together though. I had a really hard time because the instructions are very vague. I did watch a video but still had issues. I put the rollers on backward and was about to return it thinking it was a manufacturing defect. I was the defect though. Once I got it together it was easy enough to put up and down. I do need another pair of hands to put it from couch to bed and back again though. But it is a nice piece of furniture and a space saver. Good luck building it!

This futon is very comfortable. It's supportive and firm, but soft enough to make sleeping on it easy. It's not difficult to put together, a bit time consuming, but the instructions made it simple. The only tool you need is an Allen wrench that comes with the futon, maybe a hammer to get some wooden plugs set, but that's all. Transitioning from sofa to bed is a bit wonky, but easily doable. It comes in two pretty heavy large boxes, so hopefully you get it delivered to your door. I got the Marmot Thunder and it's gorgeous. Honestly couldn't be happier with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a futon. I sleep on it every night and I sleep well.

I was a little worried about buying a futon online, however it only took a few hours to put together. The parts were color coded and well organized--everything fit as it should have. Two people were needed for the last step when you position the assembled frame into the "arms".The back is raised and lowered by moving it through "grooved out slots" on each side arm. We found that we need to move the mattress off the frame when the unit is adjusted to the sitting position.... a little hassle, but it is what it is.

I will say the mattress seems comfortable. The assembly was pretty easy as well. I worry some of the piece are flimsy and they give when I attempt to switch it from bed to couch.I have to move it away from the wall a good foot and a half and use all my strength to lift up the back part way. Then I have to go in front and push from the front quite hard for it to latch. It's not at all easy. If I wanted something I couldnt change, I would have just got a bed or a couch. Now I must decide if I want it to be either one (not both) or return it.

This is one of the most comfortable futons I've been on. Not lumpy at all like other futons I've felt. The Marmont Thunder cover is fantastic! I'm giving this 5 stars despite the fact that the zipper on my case occasionally separates itself (from the side you would start zippering it from, not the side where you finish and it rests once sealed). It appears that there is nothing to stop the zipper from separating itself so I've occasionally had to unzip, then re-zip the case since it's separating from the back end. I feel like a sturdy staple or sewing a few stitches would keep this from happening.Even with this issue, I absolutely LOVE this futon. I'm so happy I purchased it. Another month or so and I'll get to put it in my home office, which is even better!

This was perfect for what we needed. We needed to get rid of a small foldout couch in our camper and needed something better for sleeping and relaxing. This does sit up a bit more than I thought (in the sense of sitting in a more reclined way so to speak) but it's REALLY comfortable. A bit difficult to go back to go back up from the flat position but we work it out together. No biggie. We used it this summer and no complaints from anyone who slept on it. Very sturdy and solid. Took a bit to put it together, not hard, just a lot of parts is all.

We really like this futon. The components seemed well made. It was easy to put together. Once we had it set up, it was very comfortable to sleep on. It has a simple clean look and the mattress fabric is nice. We are very happy with our purchase!

Best sofa/futon we have ever owned. It is positively the most comfortable! Love the durable pet friendly fabric. Also sturdy as well as attractive. At first there was an error in the delivery. Called the business and reached the owner who answered and fixed the problem immediately! The correct item arrived the next day! I couldn't believe it. Thank you. Couldn't be happier.
