Works very well if you use it right
My tap water is consistently pH 7, but I need it to be between pH 6.0 and 6.5 for my tomatoes. I used a siphon with a 5-gallon bucket and 5 mL of pH Down, and the hose output pH is perfect. I've now expanded this setup to my 4-zone digital water timer, placing the siphon between the timer and irrigation hose to treat the water for my entire garden, improving nutrient uptake. Note that the siphon can't handle constant water pressure before the timer.

Functions Perfectly
This is a great product. Not sure about the poor reviews, it doesn’t get much easier than attaching it to the spigot and turning the water on.. I run it in between 2 hoses, the 1st hose is 50ft, the 2nd is also 50ft. Makes small dose fertilizing a breeze.7/28 Update. Have had the product for less than 2 months , unfortunately something internally has malfunctioned and the back flow is now filling my concentrate bucket. The product worked great up to this point. I’m going to reach out to the seller for a replacement.7/28 Update- outstanding customer service , which is why I will continue to buy Dramm products. 1st issue I have had and they are great

Good Tool
Truly makes fertilizing easy. Better control at the spray head since you do not have the awkward jar of a hose end sprayer.Just follow the instructions and it works great. Works as well as the metal ones. I just wish that the anti siphon feature was not there since this seems to be the eventual downfall of these siphon tools. My old one worked for many years... all the new ones eventually fail. Buy two and have a backup... they are affordable.

DRAMM products are my go to
Excellent product, much improved from older versions. I miss the 16/1 ratio though. Unfortunately didn't work for me, our well pump water pressure is too low.

great item
after reading some reviews I was a little unsure if this would work. I was getting ready to store my rv in Florida for the summer and was going to syphon some Pinesol and water into my grey and black tanks. I put the end into a large containier of Pinesol and proceeded to put water in, 5 gallons into each tank. I was impressed with how much soap this thing syphoned up. Not sure if the 40 lbs of water pressure made alot of difference or not, but still very happy with the results.

Really surprised at how well it works
I have a very densely planted patio garden with some flowers but mostly vegetables in large pots mostly. I have a timer connected to a water hose sitting in a corner on a small patio table which is connected to the Syphonject which in turn is connected to an on/off valve and then to a "dial up" sprinkler (5 spray choices from the 99 cent store). I just fill my 2 gallon watering can with water and a tablespoon of "complete" water soluble fertilizer and for 5 minutes around 11 AM daily or every other day as set it waters everything in the garden while adding fertilizer through the syphon. Then I thought, well that worked so well, once a week or so I will also add some Epsom Salts (magnesium sulfate for a water deficiency) and some Azomite dirt to the can for extra minerals. I stir everything up just before the timer comes on and in two watering cycles, the watering can is completely empty, no clogs and everything is "touched". Also, once a month or so, instead of fertilizer and minerals, I add a teaspoon eacg of concentrates of Safer Soap, Neem Oil and BT (for leaf eating worms). Once again, in two waterings the bucket is empty and my garden is protected.Well, I am about half way through the Spring planting here in Houston and have yet to see any worms or pests...just amazing. It almost takes all the work out of gardening. Their instructions were specific and precise. It DOES WORK and in 5 minutes it DOES siphon almost exactly One Gallon of liquid fertilizer mixture just as stated in the instructions. I highly recommend this product especially at the price and with the Free Shipping offered by Amazon.

Fantastic
This siphon is awesome. It makes fertilizing soooo much simpler in our greenhouse. We use it with liquid kelp. We place the proper mixture in a bucket knowing that the siphon works at 20:1 and fertilizing time is cut hugely. Thanks.

Did not work at all
Never worked. Watched a few you tube videos, check everything but did not suck the fertiliser up. Waste of money.

Fertigate with Liquid Organic through Drip Tape
Tried it out once. Used it to fertigate Biofish (liquid organic) through drip lines. It seemed to work fine.I strained it first so it wouldn't clog the drip tape. Just like the product info says, there is a minimum flow rate necessary (about 5 gpm) for siphon to occur. It didn't work at first because I didn't have enough drip tape running. I had the equivalent of nearly 500' of drip tape with emitters spaced 4" apart to get it to operate successfully.I think this will be very convenient for feeding plants in the future.

Really works well
Really works well! Once you use a siphon mixer like this you will not want to go back to a mixer that is on the end of the hose.... I have a large yard, and I connect this between a 100 ft hose and the 50 ft hose I water with.... Put 20 scoops of miracle grow in a bucket with 6 litres of water, and have enough solution to water and fertilize my large garden (10x30) and several planters. I used to have a brass one, but brass oxidizes... I don't think I will have any problems with this plastic one for years!

Only attempt to siphon clean liquid with it
Poor instructions. No mention re the hole in the side of the siphon that drowned me when I tried to use it. Sort of worked, by keeping my finger over the hole, until it sucked up sludge off the bottom into the one way valve and clogged it. Nice of them to include a gasket on the water input. Was the center of the gasket suppose to be pushed by the water pressure into the siphon??? Instructions again make no mention.
