Nature's Way Schisandra Fruit -- 100 Capsules

Longer than I thought to receive but maybe it was coming from Timbuktu (lol, I don't recall) but I'm very happy with my product nonetheless. This product has amazing benefits I'm grateful I know about: Powerful adaptogen, helps relieve stress, increases stamina and strength, definitely increases my energy, helps with clarity of mind (we could all use that), helps digestion, helps protect the liver and lungs, helps treat respiratory ailments, anti-aging and longevity, aphrodisiac, helps treat nights sweats and mental and physical exhaustion (which I needed since I'd been caregiving my mother for a couple of years and puts you through the ringer), the list goes on . . . If you don't notice a difference right away (on anything regimen you begin) it just means it will take longer to see results b/c your body may be deficient in whatever you're taking.

I bought this to help a family member quit smoking. She started Schizandra 2 weeks before her quit date, 2 capsules in the morning and one in the evening. She seems steadier, less stressed, more confident and a lot better able to deal with life's challenges... pretty amazing during her first month off cigarettes. However, she had only smoked 3-7 cigarettes a day and she also sometimes uses a few Nicorette mini mints some days (tossing them before fully consumed to reduce the nicotine dose). Schizandra is an adaptogenic herb, which means it helps your body cope with stress and rebalance itself. Some sources feel that you need to stop taking them for a while to maintain effectiveness. One of my doctors suggested no more than 6 weeks on, then at least a 2 week vacation. My former smoker is taking Nature's Way Rhodiola Rosea (also an adaptogen) during her 2 week break.

The price was right. I'm taking it on physician orders to see if it has positive effects. The outcome is yet to be seen.

Schisandra is great for keeping me calm in times of stress. I have a stressful job, with this I’m able to handle most anything without getting overly worked up. I typically take for 3-5 months, take a bit of time off, then resume. I can feel the difference. My face looks better also, healthier, smoother & a bit fuller. I’ll take it!

I have noticed a calming effect. I wouldn't say it's overwhelming, but for someone who really needs something to help them relax, this is probably worth trying.

I always try to find natural remedies before going other unhealthy routes. I had been doing a lot of research on natural anxiety relief after I started having anxiety attacks out of nowhere all of a sudden. I knew it seemed to be when I traveled on planes (among other things), so I bought this product a couple weeks before a long flight to another country. I know it may effect people differently, but it really did help reduce my anxiety when taken each day. I felt more calm and relaxed and had a better general sense of well-being. Very grateful to have found it!

Bought this to help balance stress with Ashwaganda and Holy Basil. Along with biotin to help hair loss from stress and medication antibiotic was on for 8 months. Had thyroid test and iron test both low and taking liquid iron ,cause iron pills are constipating, using floradix , gluten free one. Been on all these for about 5 months. Seeing results finally . Did lots of research to get this far .

I started taking Schizandra after it was mentioned on The Dr. Oz Show. I have anxiety that stays with me all day. I have tried other herbs like St. Johns Wart & HTP-5 etc. and nothing worked. This herb is a life saver for me! I take 2 in the AM and 1 in the PM. It really works! My anxiety is gone and I even sleep better. I highly recommend it to anyone with anxiety/stress issues. And it doesn't make me tired or have any affect on my working etc. Can't say enough about it!
