EASY install H Type
Have an H Type track, and this works just as I thought. Took under 3 seconds to install the thing, and I tested it out and it seems to work great! Using this to plug a motorized projector into so I don't have to run the cable all the way across my ceiling and down the wall. Will keep you posted if there's any trouble with the power needed from the projector but I foresee no issues!

Woorks Great
I purchased it to create an outlet for Christmas lights near a high window without any outlets near it. It worked like a charm, no need to run long extension cords up the wall or adding hooks to hold it!

Pretty slick
I use this with my track lighting system to power the LED strip on this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M21AY3J. There's no switch built into that system and now when my track lighting is on over the saw, this comes on too. It isn't super secure in how it holds the plug, but it is hanging from the ceiling so that's not a surprise. Probably need to add some Gorilla Tape and that will no longer be a problem.

Needs work to be usable.
The electrical contacts inside this are so poorly shaped, that a plug won't stay in.Plug something into it, and the plug just falls out.I was able to dissemble it, bend a bigger curve into the two contacts and re-assemble it, and I got it to function. Even then, the connection was suspect, so I used electrical tape to keep them together.I'm just using it to recharge some battery powered security cameras. So I only need a so-so connection for an hour a month to do what I need.Great idea. Needs to be better built though.

Perfect For What I Needed
It's sturdy and not difficult to take off or put on to an H Track. However, as others have stated, it is loose when plugging something in (feel free to open it and see if you can make adjustments, I opened it but wasn't confident enough to make changes). I put tape on the side to grip; it does hold well if you use a 3-prong plug. For anyone interested, I used a Nuvo extension wand and a mini-ball head with a cold shoe from Koolehaoda (but any will do). On the last picture, you can see I was using the power supply and it was messy, fortunately my portable projector also uses USB-C and using a 65w power adapter. I have a dimmable track, so I just put it at 5% to trigger enough electricity.

Nice plug option for an H style track
Needed a plug for the laptop in the kitchen on the island. Only power was above on the track lights. Plugged this in on the end and plugged the laptop into that. Works great. Only thing to remember is that power only flows to this plug if the switch is on for the track. So if you're needing constant power but want the track off for some reason - this isn't the right solution. For me, it does what i need - which is charge the laptop occasionally - and let me watch a youtube or cooking video while I'm in the kitchen. :)

I had to disassemble it to make it work
It would not keep cord plugged in. Very loose. Had to disassemble (not recommended) and repair it. After doing so it seems to work.

Value for the dollar is good -- enables versatility!
Loved the fact that this little goodie circumvented the urge to open drywall and install a light-duty plug-in (duplex outlet) near to the track lighting. This little device enabled the PIN SPOT (low voltage) in the center of the Resurrection Mural pictured, with the same light-duty power that enables UV bulbs around it, on track lighting.
