This Star of Bethlehem LED light has the appearance of neon without the expense or hazards. It arrived well-packaged in a lift-top cardboard box, which will be suitable for storing and protecting the light between uses. The manufacturer was very thoughtful (and thorough) in what they included with the light. It comes with a USB-A cord (no wall charging block is included) that is just a bit over six feet long. They've also included a battery pack (which requires three AA batteries) which you can use to power the cord, if you don't have access to an outlet. Or you can plug it directly into a power bank. The switch for the light is located on the cord, about three feet down from the light. It is a very simple switch to operate - it has an on/off button, and (+) and (-) buttons which allow you to brighten or dim the light to your liking (there are 10 different levels of brightness). There are three pre-drilled holes in the top and sides of the plastic backing, and they've provided all of the materials needed to hang it from suction cup hooks, a chain, or even to mount it directly to a wall (detailed instructions for each method are also included, which is very helpful). The entire thing measures approximately 15.7 inches by 12 inches, but the star itself actually measures 15 inches x 11 inches. The entire thing is also about 1/2 inch deep, which means you can hang it just about anywhere you'd like without worrying about it sticking out too far and being in the way. I wasn't sure if the LED would be too bright, but there are enough brightness levels to make everyone happy. And thankfully it's on the softer, warmer end of the light spectrum, instead of very bright daylight white. This is actually a very pretty light and I'm very happy with it. I think it will be a lovely addition to our holiday decorations.

This is a beautiful Star of Bethlehem. Well made with a clear Plexiglas base to hold the shape and provide the stability for the lighting. There is a surprising difference in the levels of light that it can produce from a soft gentle glow to a bright shining light. I know it is hard to tell from the photos yet the glow changes substantially. Three charging power-source options making it easy to put it just about anywhere. I added the 3AA batteries and I was all set to go. To start, it will provide a beautiful display at our church during an event and then it will shine brightly in a window or on our tree in our home. It comes with a manual instruction booklet, chain for a simplistic hang with 2 adhesive hooks and supplies for mounting options. There are a few size choices when ordering to fit different spacial needs. There is no mistaking the representation of this lovely star and we are proud to display it in our home. It arrives in a great box to store and use for years.

This is such an amazing addition to our Christmas theme this year. It has the versatility of running off of a battery pack or plugging it in if you conveniently have a plugin nearby. That is a HUGE bonus as far as where you want to display it. We camp a lot and sometimes like to take the holidays on the road, so this is perfect for our needs. I'm frankly surprised by how reasonably priced this is for the quality you get. I half anticipated a flimsy string of lights, but it is reinforced on an acrylic sheet cut to form and really does look like a neon sign. It's going to last for many a Christmas. Don't throw your box away. You'll need it for storage. Very impressive. It is dimmable, so you can fine tune the light to match the environment and feel you want as you display it. Buy one before they're gone.

This is a true joy to have in my front window, complementing my other Christmas decorations well. It has a decent length power cord and a power + dimmer control switch that has worked flawlessly. The dimmer provides a very useful range of light levels. The package came with a practical set of various mounting hardware that was well thought-out.The star matches the Amazon pictures from the front side, with the bright white tubes being clean and attractive. The other side appears more like strips of illuminated adhesive backing for the light tubes, allowing a lot of light through, but not looking quite as nice as the front side. If you don't mind that it's not the same appearance on both sides, it will be a happy addition to your chosen place of illumination. You have to be up close to the star to really notice the difference between the two sides.I've been enjoying this star and genuinely recommend it.

We purchased this star to shine on top of our house, it has a nice vibrant glow that shines over a block away. Set up was easy and it’s the perfect size for our roof peak.

LEDs make this look like neon, but it is a LED device for certain. It has a LONG USB cable attached to the lighting element at the bottom of the star point. It comes with a 3 double A battery pack, hard to see because it is clear. YOU supply the batteries. I suspect the batteries will last a long time because it is a LED light fixture. The LEDs are in a white tube that has been shaped then glued onto a clear acrylic back plate. I also tested it with a USB charger. Seeing as how I already knew it worked, this was a slight waste of time, but it works with ANY 5 volt input. Or 4.5 volt, the output of 3 AA batteries.The battery pack was a bit of a pain to open. Be careful with it! It doesn't feel all that sturdy, and the battery cover was a pain. It is hard for me to see clear letters on a clear box, but I finally did see the symbol showing to pull the cover down to open. Definitely 5 stars
