Great piece of gym equipment allowing for different grip positions and different exercises!
Great piece of gym equipment allowing for different grip positions and different exercises!I ordered this attachment specifically because I wanted a parallel-grip attachment for some of my back workouts. This item is very innovative and really cool. It is heavy duty steel and has a textured, rubberized coating on it. It also comes with a heavy-duty d-ring for attaching it to a cable setup. All three of the grip positions: narrow, medium and wide-parallel are quite useful and feel natural and not awkward in the hand. The only criticism is that the way this piece is designed there is no way to utilize straps as the bar is quite thick and they don’t wrap all the way around. That said, this probably isn’t the best piece for super heavy work, but for light-medium weight lifts focusing on great form and a proper mind-muscle connection this is an excellent and very effective addition!

Amazing lat bat
This lat bar is stellar. Great price. Grip is a little rough but doesn’t tear you up. Has some heft to it. Hand positions are great and work with both overhand and underhand grips. The wide neutral grips are also great. You can get a little creative if you want grip strength or some alternative exercises to add variety and get you to failure. Also, works great for rowing exercises and getting a variety of hand/arm placement. The only knock, and not worth a Star, is that the hole for it to hook to a carabiner is a little small. It will work with most normal biners, but probably not a locking one or anything larger. I hooked mine to a spinning attachment so it could freely move a little bit.

Good value
Very pleased with this purchase. The coated metal bar is well made and is pleasant to grip without fingers slipping and also, with no knurled surfaces. It's shipped with a large caribeaner that should work with just about any cable tower. What I like most is the variety of different gripping positions I can use with this single attachment -- UH vs OH and narrow, medium, and wide/outer. It can also be used for rows and curls but I primarily bought it for lat pulls. Very pleased with the purchase.I'm a short female -- 5'2" -- and I'd wondered if the wide width for the outermost grips would be too much of a stretch/reach, since the beefy shouldered guy pictured in the advertisement doesn't resemble my physique. But it isn't. I can easily reach the outer grips and I am liking feeling the work in a different section of my back.I bought the red one -- it's a great color.

All in one
Perfect all in one lat bar. It is a little heavy but overall I would recommend this to anyone!

Fantastic for alleviating elbow pain
40yr old lifter with almost 30 years mileage, checking in. For all my years, I've had extremely few nagging pains, but across the past year or two, I've had some bouts of golfer's elbow (underside of forearm, near the funny bone). Prior to the more recent flare-ups, late last year I had a terrible injury to the ligaments in my ring fingers, so repeated inability to do heavy pulling was getting a bit tiresome. After some futzing around, I found that I could enforce proper "stacking" of my forearm/wrist in overhead pulling if I used a false-grip (wrapping thumb alongside index finger). A week or two after this, I saw a picture of this design somewhere and thought "I'll give that a crack".I've bought a lot of exercise equipment over the years with varying degrees of enjoyment, so to speak. I won't mince words: this thing has been perfect for me. The vanilla lat pull-down bar has its uses, sure, but for me, this thing trounces it in every way. It's hefty, the coating is a fantastic hard rubber, and I have zero complaints for overhead pulling work. Also, the neutral-grip wide grip feels amazing. Definitely my favorite use for it.You can use it for horizontal pulling, but I feel this thing really shines with overhead pulling with grip variations. The fact that it's rather hefty really messes with the execution on cable rows and the like.PS: if anyone else sees this and is also dealing with finger ligament tears and golfer/tennis elbow problems: do rice bucket training. There's a 10 minute routine on Youtube (it'll be one made by a younger lady). Do that, trust me. No amount of other Flexbar, flossing, stretching, etc does a thing for me, but that stuff is a silver bullet, for sure.

On my first day using it, I really enjoyed it — I had fun at the gym and loved my workout!”
Great product! Very versatile for the gym and even works well instead of dumbbells. I wish I had bought it sooner. Highly recommended!
