Protein Works | Vegan Protein 360 - Gold, Chocolate Silk, 500g

I switched from whey to vegan powder due to acne outburst. Ordered both the choc silk and unflavoured. Choc silk I take as a protein drink. No complaints at all. Mixes well. Easy on the stomach. Good taste. Slightly grainy texture but in a drink I don't mind it. Highly recommended. The unflavoured is a bit more challenging. I use this in my morning oats. The grainy texture is more apparent. Maybe due to the lower liquid content compared to taking as a drink. But I wouldn't want to take the unflavoured as a drink. For me it's an ingredient amongst many and any earthy flavour is masked. But in morning oats, the texture is a struggle. Haven't tried in other recipes yet (flapjacks etc). Maybe that's where it is best used. In short, for a drink, the flavoured products are good and I will buy again. Haven't found a use for the unflavoured yet.

Seen a few comments about how people find the taste of this horrid, however I'm the complete opposite. To me this is like a desert, not too sweet, nice thick consistency, and the taste is great. Tried all the flavours and found chocolate silk to be the nicest one. Value for money is great, mixes well with oat milk and a very decent protein content. Would highly recommend.

The first bag I bought of this was a lovely chocolate flavour and didn't have added thickeners like xanthan gum or added vitamins, which attracted me to the product in the first place as I wanted minimal ingredients while reluctantly accepting it included sucrose. The pack also matched the list of ingredients with the Amazon listing; Protein blend (SOY protein isolate, pea protein isolate, pumpkin seed protein, sunflower protein, brown rice protein), fat-reduced cocoa powder, flavouring, sweetener (sucralose), DigeZyme (amylase, protease, cellulase, beta D galactosidase, lipase) Unfortunately naively when I received my next pack I didn't check the ingredients list until is was too late and I'd opened it. It now not only doesn't taste as much of chocolate anymore, and in my view tastes awful, it also now contains unwanted thickeners and vitamins.

I've purchased this product (chocolate flavour) as a supplement to my diet. As I follow a mostly vegan diet, I was recommended this product to get proteins. To be honest, the first time I tried this product, I didn't like it at all. I used only water and the texture was very strange, I wasn't able to go over a few sips. Then with time it got better. I switched to milk (I tried semi-skimmed once, almond, hazelnut, coconut) and started to sieve the shake before drinking it. In my opinion, the best milk to mix it with is coconut. It doesn't cover the chocolate flavour. It doesn't even need to be sifted, the shaker that I bought the proteins with has a spring that mixes the product very well. Overall, despite the initial disappointment I am very happy with the product and I am looking forward to trying new flavours. I will definitely buy again!

The chocolate tastes pretty good and is fine mixed with water. 2 scoops plus 500ml keeps me full and fuelled for ~4 hours with only 250 kcal (made up like this it's like the Huel ready-to-drink thickness). Replaced 2 meals a day and lost 2lbs in one week (I'm not usually a dieter, but some medication I've been taking is stretching my jeans!) It is a bit grainy, but not too lumpy. I imagine the texture is part of what keeps your stomach feeling sated tbf! The vanilla is grim with just water and has a strange aftertaste, but I've been mixing one scoop with half water + half oat milk, a banana and some peanut butter and its really delicious, thick and filling - and tastes very pudding-y! I've been having this in the evening and it staves off my late night hunger pangs. I've found the protein boost has reduced my sugar cravings too. Have re-ordered some different flavours to try. Realistically there is half the number of portions they say on the packet, if you're using it for a whole meal replacement (rather than boosting your smoothie). Tried one scoop and it just wasn't satisfying enough. Still think it is good value for money though at about a quid a meal.

Excellent quality protein powder! Just the right amount of sweetness, which I must add, does not leave an aftertaste. The chocolate is pleasant and not overpowering. I've used with almond milk and almond milk/water 50/50. Both are really good. I'm sure plain, chilled water alone with it would be great too! I'll be purchasing the larger bag now I know its great. 👍😍

Not often I write bad reviews but this powder is not very nice. It does not mix very well. Is very powdery ( no that's not a joke). The flavour is not very natural and overall is pretty poor. I only bought as a substitute for my normal Wyddsons Earth Champ when it wasn't available. You get what you pay for I guess!

Never been a fan of vegan proteins but 2 scoops of this and 1 weetabix tastes great

good formulation, good taste (chocolat cookie), a bit to sweet at first, cause of the sweetner, but I got use to it and its quite pleasent now. I dont get people who say that the powder doesn’t mix well, it does ! You need one of those electric shaking device that you can get on amazon for 10 bucks, and you heat it in the microwave 2 time (shake between each time), and its perfectly smooth and tasty ! No tummy ache, no gazyness, its perfect for me.

Mi sono dovuto ricredere fin dal primo utilizzo: questo prodotto è eccezionale sotto ogni punto di vista.Sapore e consistenza: Il gusto Chocolate Silk è goloso, pieno e non troppo dolce. Si scioglie perfettamente nello shaker sia con acqua che con latte vegetale (io adoro usarlo con il latte di mandorla), senza lasciare assolutamente grumi o quella fastidiosa consistenza "farinosa" tipica di altri marchi. Sembra quasi un vero milkshake!Qualità e digeribilità: La formula multi-fonte (pisello, soia e riso) garantisce un profilo amminoacidico completo di altissimo livello. Inoltre, la presenza di vitamine e degli enzimi digestivi fa davvero la differenza: si digerisce con estrema facilità, senza causare alcun gonfiore addominale.Il rapporto qualità-prezzo per il formato da 1 kg è super conveniente. Diventate ufficialmente le mie proteine preferite per il post-allenamento. Super consigliate a chi cerca un integratore vegetale tecnico ma incredibilmente piacevole da bere!

Ich bin schon lange auf der Suche, nach einem Protein Shake, der nicht so unglaublich süß ist. Wahrscheinlich hab ich ihn gefunden. Er hat einen komischen Nachgeschmack, da weiß ich noch nicht, ob ich das längerfristig mag. Ansonsten, wenn man nicht auf süß steht, klare Empfehlung. Versand war schnell und und für den Preis ist er nicht schlechter als die höherpreisigen

Muy contento con esta proteína vegana. Se disuelve muy bien, sin grumos, y el sabor a chocolate es agradable, ni muy dulce ni con ese regusto artificial que suelen tener otras proteínas veganas. Al ser apta para veganos, es una opción genial si buscas evitar lácteos sin renunciar a la textura y el sabor de una buena proteína. La entrega llegó perfecta, bien embalada y a tiempo. En general, muy recomendable tanto por calidad como por sabor.

Geschmäcker sind verschieden und das sieht man hier deutlich. Ich hatte schon 7 vegane Proteinpulver getestet und jedesmal hat mich der mehlig oder erdige Geschmack gestört. Ich bekam es nicht herunter. Dieser Shake ist wahnsinnig lecker mit Reismilch, Wasser oder Wasser und Obst. Vanille ist auch nicht mein Geschmack aber Schokoladen silk und Penaut kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Für einen super Preis ;) wenn man den shake mit einem Pürierstab umrührt, dann löst er sich super auf und ist cremig ;)
