A really impressive boot!
Initially thought boots oversized, but when putting them on they fitted well, a comfortable feel straight away. Look remarkably well made, good finish, no frayed threads, unlike some top named high spec boots I've had. I have used used these boots every day since they arrived, for dog walking, on the moors, beaches and in woods. I'm hard on boots, as lots of granite and flint paths on the moors, but these boots have really impressed me, being comfortable and tough, flexible and light. First impressions are they are a bargain for the money. I was pleasantly surprised, my go to boots in dry weather. Obviously not waterproof but very quick drying.

So far so good
Update 1 year on, these are excellent far out lasted my previous magnum boots at a quarter of the price, other than the odd scuff I could actually clean these up and they'd look a couple of months old, excellent boots and will definitely buy these again when I need some. Up to now they are great, true to size fitting although a little wide so if you do have narrower feet they'll feel spacious so the laces are going to need to be pulled right, that though creates a problem in talking them off because the lace eyelets are so tight loosening the laces is pretty tough and without doing that, even with the zip at the side, they ain't coming off. Also found out this morning on wet pavement they ain't exactly slip resistant, other than that once they are on they are extremely comfortable to walk in and they are light, so much better than my Gelert boots that lasted about 2 months before falling to bits, and my magnum that lasted 6 months. I'll expect about 6 months out of these and will I buy more, absolutely.

Good boot for daily use
Great ankle support and very light. The thick, soft sole is more springy than spongey. The velcro and zip suggests that you can tie these shoes once and just slip them on and they will stay; however I had to re-tie them every 2 wears. Survived around 4.5 months of daily (6+ hours) walks on concrete and abrasive ground before developing a hole. If you normally wear soles out on specific parts then your milage may vary. I have no complaints about the build quality, the materials will hold up to abuse but wont stay shiny and black. The vents keep the foot cool and dry if you end up playing in a puddle. I would get another pair but would like to find something with a more durable sole as that is really my only complaint.

Very comfortable
So far they are very comfortable boots. Had these Boots for just under a month. I bought size 10 wide. .They are lightweight and plenty of room for toes ( which have been crushed by more expensive boots. Currently wearing thin socks but tried with thicker socks and also super comfortable. Long term durability still needs to be seen but very impressed with them and I wear them for about 12hrs at work. At this stage I would highly recommend.

Comfortable
Lovely footwear. Sole is so soft and supportive of the feet. Looks and feels rugged. But time will tell cos I guess it might be too early to speak much about that.

Exceeding all expectations
Writing a review at a month. I usually wear gsg9 for work and the gym . I saw these for so low a price wasn't expecting much. They on first inspection look great quality solid great sole and grips. I have used them every day for work average 7 miles in all weathers. I also used them for the gym 100kg calf raises has destroyed the stitching in a few Premier brands . These have been amazing great grip in all conditions ice 🧊 water mud snow ❄️. They are not waterproof yet I have not had my feet soaked yet not for want of rain 😉. To sum them up 12 hours constantly walking and moving . They are incredible comfortable and truly out performing a lot of high level priced boots . I recommend these highly too anyone wanting a great pair of boots that are both functional and comfortable 😀

Good
Good boots. Pros- Comfortable, light, hard-wearing. Cons- Slippy on wet surfaces, don't polish well. Better then more expensive Magnums boots but not as good as high end brands. Ideal for cheap work boot.

Incredible value.
Was deciding between these and the under armour ones. For me, these win in material quality, fit, and comfort. I don't know if they'll win on durability but I'll update this review if they don't. They look good, the zipper on the side makes putting them on and taking them off an absolute breeze, the suede looks and feels good. They arrived slightly scuffed but a pass with a brush and they looked as good as new and I decided to keep them and send the under armour ones back. These are also half the price of the others, so for what you're paying they seem to be great value. Stitches look sturdy as well, let's see how they fare on durability. As it stands, a 5 star product.

Very good boots that are perfect for construction work
Very nice boots I do masonry work as a laborer and there great I love the look and the cushion in the heel is like a hoka running shoe it's bouncy I'm 6'1 240 and have mostly worn redwings which are good but they don't have that good shock absorption from running up and down a scaffold like these do I also really like that I can tie these boots nice and snug and zip them up and I can zip them off without untieing and the laces don't loosen at all the traction is good as well just as good as a red wing or Irish setter haven't slipped on dry or wet surfaces I'm hoping that the sole will last at least 4 to 5 months but Soo far after a week I haven't seen any wear as of yet but time will tell as for water resistance I haven't tested it yet but as for any work boots that's not a muck boot I probably wouldnt walk in heavy mud or water that's more that 4 inches deep as with most boots water seems to always get in little by little I've got these in the summer I haven't had any issues with overheating or very sweaty feet I could see these boots possibly working in the winter if you doubled up on socks but I think insulated muck boots may be the way to go but overall these boots are definitely great if you work in the trades doing heavy labor I'd recommend being safe and getting the composite toe version of these because these offer no protection for you toes. I'd also order either a half or full size down as the sizing is off and the toebox is a little wider but no worries because the boot fits like a glove this is easily the best boot I've ever worn to work and the price makes it that much more worth it I'll be a returning buyer

These boots are way better than advertised and exceeded the specs.
When I first purchased the boots I’m retiring now, I really wasn’t convinced about comfort and durability for my job’s purposes. That is walking 4-5 km a day in all kinds of weather conditions and terrain. Ice, snow, freezing rain, tropical storm like rain and wind, mud and -40 Celsius cold all the way up to 40 degrees Celsius heat and 80+ percent humidity. Without proper care beyond wiping them down to keep them looking clean for aesthetics and so my employer doesn’t throw a sh.t fit at me for breach of “uniform “ regulations. These first Nortive8 boots lasted almost two years for 75$ so my point is I’ve had boots I paid 300$ where the mid sole was destroyed in 12 months and the boot still looked ok but with nortive8 both mid sole and boot are finished at the same time. I got my moneys worth and I feel vindicated in that I’m not throwing out 300$ of a good brand boots only because the mid sole failed before the boots themselves. So do yourself a favor and get the nortive8 brand, invest in quality insoles and protect the “leather” body of the boot and just forget about them until they fail. Size chart is on par. So a size 13 wide, is just that. The side zipper never failed and because I wasn’t taking care of them, the mid sole started separating but a bit of RC tire glue and overnight drying did the trick. These boots are a fantastic product and a good option for security guards, law enforcement or just normal wear in manufacturing jobs, just choose a boot that has safety toe caps. They are surprisingly light weight and nimble in scenarios where speed is required. I give them a high 5 stars rating and one other thing, what ever material they use inside the boot, my feet never stank after a 16 hour shift even after I was soaked from rain after a exterior foot patrol for one hour. At that price point, you seriously cannot go wrong with nortive8 tactical boots. I have injuries from falling hard on ice, my skeleton is out of alignment and one hip that was pushed upwards from a fall and with proper insoles, these boots got me through a lot of nasty conditions. Hey people over at nortive8 could you send me a prototype tactical pair of boots so I can put them through their trials. Thanks for manufacturing a true product
