Radon Plus Radon Detector for Home with 10-Minute Readings

It's not something you wish you needed to buy but it's a great product for sure. super easy to work with. great display, and I love that it sends the info to your phone. the app is very nice as well. connected without any hiccups and seemed very accurate. In this house, Safety is important so having this information was very helpful.

I'm quite impressed with this radon detector. While a bit bulkier than others, it is advertised to run for up to 7 years on 2 AA batteries. The display is clear, easy to read, and always "on" - it requires ambient light to read and doesn't timeout like on some other detectors I've purchased. The remote app is a bit confusing to initially pair with the device, but works flawlessly afterward. It's priced above its competition, but I feel it's worth the extra $$. Other Aranet detectors can be paired to the same app resulting in whole home environmental monitoring if you are willing to put out the funds.

Much faster readings compared to the original Aranet Wave, the e-ink screen is comfortable to look at and power efficient yet very capable. Pairing with the Aranet app via bluetooth is simple and easy, simply enter the app, tap the device and the screen will show a pairing code. Data loads quickly and the graphs are simple and easy to use. Supports data ingest into Home Assistant for custom ApexCharts cards like the one in the photo. Data is broadcast every 5 minutes. With the Aranet integration and a Bluetooth capable HomeAssistant node it detected the readings once "Smart Home Integration" was enabled in the Aranet app. Overall good value relative to the other radon detectors on the market and SAF makes a tidy, simple app. Note there is no cloud sync for this data, but the data stays on the phone it is synced with.

We’ve been concerned about the potential for high levels of radon in our basement. One of our neighbors told us his radon levels were reading well over 4.0 so he had to install an exhaust system. That led me to buy a test kit and send it in. I wanted something for continuous monitoring so I bought this. Not only is it very accurate, it’s wonderful to be able to track the history in the mobile app! Plus, the e-Ink display is genius. It’s very easy to read and requires very little battery power. I haven’t changed the batteries at all since I first set it up a few months ago. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! One thing I learned is that the radon levels can be substantially higher than normal after rain or when the ground freezes. Radon is a gas and tries to find its way out. If the ground is wet or hard (or both), it has no where to go. Normal level in my basement is roughly 1.5 though this graph shows a bit higher - we’ve had a LOT of rain recently.

Good radon detector. Easy to use and the values are accurate, just need some time to get a good, averaged reading.

Neat Radon measurement device. It operates with two AAA batteries. The front LED display provides the current Radon level, the ambient temperature and relative humidity. There is a battery level indicator and a 3-segment radon level bar graph. It comes with an illustrated user guide. It has bluetooth connectivity and apps for remote readouts to smartphones, as long as you are within the theoretical 33 foot bluetooth range. It had fairly quick response to changing Radon levels. I have it sitting on the top of a bookcase about 4 feet below a forced air return vent. I can see the reading change when the furnace comes on first thing in the morning after being off overnight. The Radon level in the basement runs about 1.6 and any where from 0.6 to 1.6 on the main level.

The detector itself is accurate and very well made. However, its app doesn't have 1 day, 7 day or 1 month rolling average history, unlike other detector. This makes the detector less useful if you consider how spiky the radon level data are. Please add rolling average capability in the app.

Best on the market in terms, smart function, and styling. Aranet quality. Will last for a long time.
