She’s a piece of work
I was judging people in the reviews being like “it took me forever”. Like of course its gonna take you forever? I judge me now. I started from 11 am and finished it at around 4 pm. No mistakes, no backtracking. That was just me taking my time, trying to stay organized and lifting it all by myself. BUT. She is gorgeous. Everything is solid except for the part that leans against the wall. And the bottom of the drawers. The rest is solid. No weird odor either that usually comes with boxed up furniture. A worthy investment of five hours from my weekend! You do need a hammer and screwdriver.

Good quality for the price, use a drill for faster assembly with the wood screws.
Good quality for the price, and easy to put together if you have a drill or impact driver. It took me 4 hours to put this dresser together, but that was mostly in part to having an impact driver. The issue you will run into when putting this together will be the time it takes to put in some of these wood screws, there are a lot. That being said, the quality isn’t going to be top tier, but you shouldn’t expect more for the price. The color and stain is beautiful, I would also be careful about how your screwing things in, especially the feet. I did have one split on me, but was able to fix that by driving the screw in from the opposite side and making that leg a different part of the dresser. Overall it took me 4 hours to assemble. For a piece that would cost over $1000 at West Elm for a similar style, you’re getting a good deal. It’s solid wood, even if it is Pine, I would say it is better than manufactured wood.

Its Good, but could have been Better!
Where do I start with this review? The Good: - It is a sturdy enough dresser, once its been installed properly. - Definitely modern looking and comes with a variety of color choices. - Really good instructions for assembling process. The Bad: - It takes a while for it to be assembled. It took a bit more than 6 hours for me to assemble (one person hand assembly). - Others have pointed out earlier as well. There is a gap that exists and they could have made the drawers bigger. - Bottoms of the drawers are MDF boards and that makes them rattling and cheap. - Its a one time and use thing. There is no way it can be unassembled and reassembled later. The Ugly: - Poor quality control. The panel that goes in the middle came broke for me. Lucky me that its the middle one. I was able to glue that and use it. Had it been any other, it would have been a total disaster. I took out a star because of this. - The wooden sliders on which the drawers slide are pretty bad design. They not only make them cheap, but a lot of rattling because of that. For $300, they could have used metal sliders. Took another star because of this and the cheap bottom drawers. Some suggestions: - Read the instructions very carefully and take time to assemble. Don't rush. - Do not install the board at the back before installing the legs. It becomes that much easier if you swap those two steps (unlike the instructions). - I used some beeswax to polish the wooden panels for drawers. It does give them a good patina. - I used some synthetic grease to lubricate the slider & drawers. That made them a bit tacky and less rattling (this could have been avoided completely if they have provided metal sliders).

Most miserable assembly experience. Took years off my life.
This is not my first piece of furniture. I’ve assembled plenty of IKEA pieces and other Amazon brands with dismal instructions, but this was the absolute worst piece of furniture I’ve ever assembled. I would return it if it wouldn’t be a nightmare to take apart and send back. CONs: It is a pain to put together. The dowels are brittle and crumble apart. The screw heads notches too wide and low to grip a phillips screwdriver well. Incredibly brittle wood. The wood is not finished on all outside surfaces. The top piece split when I was putting it on, but at least I was able to glue and clamp the spot and it’s towards the back end. PROs: It does look nice once you finish. Instructions are not the worst, but could be better. Most pieces were labeled but not all. And at least the holes mostly lined up. ADVICE: I managed to do this myself, but I regret it. Assemble this with two people to make your life easier. I do not recommend using a drill on this for fear of the wood splitting. I used a small ratcheting hand tool to go faster. Similarly it would be better to use a rubber mallet to tap the dowels in than a hammer. Also might be good to have wood glue around to glue pieces together to strengthen screws and dowels, help reinforce cracks, and fix any splits as you go.

Not an easy assembly but final result is well worth it.
In spite of giving this dresser 4 stars, I am happy with it now that its built - perfect size for my small (10'x11') bedroom and made of solid pine wood. All the parts were there. The instructions were clear with both text and pictures. Drawers open smoothly on the wooden slides. It looks very pretty in the space. With that said I have to add that the assembly did not go without glitches, hence the 4 stars. If I didn't like the finished product so much I would have given it 3 stars for the build. It was frustrating in several ways. But at the end of the day, I'm happy with the dresser and feel like its definitely worth it considering that it's solid wood at a price you would expect MDF or particle board. Mainly, the holes that were predrilled for the cam bolts were not all straight in. So in spite of being very careful, many of the cam bolts went in a bit crooked. At first I thought it was my fault for not getting them in straight. I've built a good many cam-bolted projects and never before had a problem. Many just would not go in straight. This made assembly very tricky. It was very hard to get the bolts into the holes if they don't line up perfectly, especially since the top goes on while the unit is laying on its back side. I understand why it is put together that way but it makes things very difficult when the cam bolts are slightly slanted. I had to do a lot of banging on the top to put it in place where it should have just popped in easily. And, yes, I made some dents on the top at the edges. I'm sure a couple of the cam locks are not really locked in. Then there is the quality of the cam lock hardware themselves. Not top notch. - Seemed like the phillips heads were sort of loosely grooved and my screw diver (I tried several sizes) wanted to slip out. Then, some of them worked just fine. Fortunately there are also many screws to secure the pieces so I think it will be ok. But I would not trust moving this dresser many times. Next, the Front Rail (below the top drawers) was a bit warped. I had to use a trim nail to get the Front Rail to seat all the way onto the center Division panel (between the sets of drawers). There is a dowel in the center to attach it to that center panel but the rail was bowed enough to not touch the dowel. The trim nail probably goes into that dowel. Anyway, it worked. I will have to go back with some filler and touch up pen to hide that little nail. The good part of that is that since the front rail only has a dowel to connect it to the center Division panel. Now with that nail in there, it is structurally more secure. Something I am very happy about is that when I ordered this dresser Amazon was telling me that the Walnut stained Groove model I wanted was out of stock and I had to settle for the metal handle model (which was a bit less expensive) to get the color I wanted. Then, checking on the shipping progress it kept flipping back to the Groove model in my order history and I really didn't know which one would arrive. When it got here, yes, it is the Groove model. So that was a pleasant surprise. I do love the little dresser. So all is good. I would buy other pieces from this manufacturer...just wish they would do a bit better job on drilling those cam bolt holes.

Great furniture, real solid pine wood. Buy it, spend the time assembling it. It's worth it.
I build cabinetry by trade and heavily considered building my own furniture after a terrible experience with Jeromes. I came to amazon on a last ditch effort and found the Walker Edison pieces. I am surprised by the quality pushed out for the price they are pushing it. I bought the walnut finished dresser and two night stands that match. I wood glued everything when I assembled it and let me tell you, this is a solid piece. I spent way less money than I would have in time to build the same thing including finish and everything else. 10/10 would purchase again and I am going to be looking into more pieces from this company for other areas of the home. Great furniture, real solid pine wood. Rare to find real wood at this price. Buy it, spend the time assembling it. It's worth it.

An attractive, substantial Dresser
This is a very substantial, attractive dresser. It is deep enough that the drawers hold a lot of clothing, while the unit as a whole ably supports my 55" TV and associated sound bar. I was worried that the wood drawer slides would stick, but they do not. They operate very smoothly, better than some of the metal slides I have experienced. That said, one slide rail arrived warped, and did bind its drawer. I contacted Walker Edison at their location in Utah indicated on the back of the instructions, and after sending them a screenshot of my Amazon order confirmation and a photo of the offending part, they FedExed me a replacement. As with any flat-box dresser, with all those drawers, there are a lot of pieces, so assembly is a bit of an Allen wrench hell project. I paid attention, and took my time, and it all went well. If something seems wrong, or holes do not match up, it is likely that you picked up the wrong piece, or it is turned the wrong way. I would look back at the instructions, realize my mistake, and onward! As I said, I am very pleased with the handsome result.

Solid, nice dresser for price
I’m pleasantly surprised at the quality of this dresser. I was concerned given some reviews but it’s a solid piece with secure attachment points. I built this alone over maybe 3 hours (but also took breaks to make dinner) and the only “hard” part was getting the legs screwed on because the bolt was so substantial and fit snugly. There are some little dings here and there and the drawer pull “lock” is a bit weird but overall I’m really please for the cost of this. Now looking to see if there are any matching nightstands from the same company
