Toro 29210 43 Gallon Yard Spring Bucket Review: Very useful, well built, multipurpose garden accessory - I have been extremely happy with this purchase. This product is really well constructed, sturdy and fits many uses while doing yard work. I like it a lot because: 1. It has a quality, durable construction. 2. It has well stitched handles that make it easy to carry it from place to place. 3. You can use it for multiple tasks. -You can use it simply as a storage bucket to dump tools and stuff while working in yard moving from one area to another. -You can use it to collect all your leaves whether using the toro leaf collector or otherwise. -You can even stack paper bags inside this bucket as the bucket helps keep the bags stand vertical as you try and put leaves inside the bags I can see some reviews mentioning of a lack of belt. I frankly don't think that that is a problem because if the bucket is not filled with anything extraordinarily heavy stuff [ie say filled completely (43 g of it) with wet leaves or so] then the two handles provided with it are adequate. On the other hand, if it is heavy then carrying it by two handles is better suited to you as you shall balance the weight with both hands. I cannot imagine a bucket completely filled being carried on a belt simply because it would be very unwieldy because of its volume. hope that helps Review: Strong and durable - I used this spring bucket for my leafs this fall and the size is perfect. The bucket is strong and in good dimension to hold a ton of leafs. I used to wait till the leafs dry and shred them but since I have this bucket, I racked them while they were still wet so it's quite heavy by the time it's full. I dragged the bucket thru my yard appx 100 ft each trip so the handle and bottom has to be strong. It will be great to use for pruning, temporary outdoor party trash can and such. There's no zipper so if you wish to lower the height, you can always clip on one side so it's tilted in an angle or use other clipper like the ones come with most luggages these days or anything you have can make it work. There're little holes at the bottom so water can escape. I gave this a four stars because I wish it weigh a little lighter and I only used it this fall so yet to tell how well it holds up. I'll definitely recommend this product though. Feb 2013 Update: Added 1 star as I've been using this bucket for over 3 years now, and it still holds up very well. I even bought another one a year or 2 ago, in case this one breaks. Never had to open the new one and will probably stay in my closet for another few years. Love it!

Toro bins
Very sturdy and well made. They make the yard cleanups so much easier.

Pretty good collapsible bucket without a zipper.
I was expecting this to have a zippered lid, but now that I've come back to re-examine what I bought, I see that the only reason I had to expect that it would have a zippered lid was that I wanted it to have a zippered lid and just decided that it did. Well, in case you're wondering - and you shouldn't be at this point, because I've already said it pretty clearly - it doesn't. It's decent though. As one one-star reviewer noted, it doesn't stand as firmly as I'd like. Slouches a bit. It does fulfill it's promise though of being A) collapsible and B) a bucket very well. It seems sturdy, and the little holes for ventilation seem like a good idea, but probably will hinder attempts to use it to hold or transport liquids. I like the little clips that keep it collapsed when you want it to be. Good thing they put those on, otherwise it would pretty much just be temporarily collapsible, or you'd have to put something heavy on it. I'm really trying to think of more things to say about this collapsible bucket. Here are some of them: -It does go well with black things. -It also goes well with red things. -Don't put it in the middle of a dark walkway at night because you might bump into it. Being a collapsible bucket, it probably won't injure you though. Unless it's full of rusty nails or something. But even if you aren't injured by bumping into it, you might spill things out of it and then you'd feel like you have to clean them up in the dark, and that's no fun. Usually. -It's large enough to hold a child. Unfortunately, as I mentioned, it doesn't come with a zipper. -They should use these in space because they're lighter than regular buckets and would cost less to send into orbit. Of course, there's probably not a lot you can do with a bucket in space because gravity is an integral part of a bucket's functionality. Without it, it just doesn't hold onto things very well. But then, it could be useful for demonstrations of centrifugal force in space, like by putting something in it and swinging it around. There's usually not a lot of room in space craft for swinging large collapsible buckets though, so if you're looking for a collapsible bucket to use for that, you should probably try something smaller.

Perfection of form & function
I confess, this is stilted as a review- this is the second one I had to buy. The first one was 'borrowed' by a friend and never returned. As a matter of fact, he refused to return it because he liked it so much, and paid for its replacement. The Toro 43 gallon spring bucket (just rolls off the tongue, don't it?) is a fantastic debris and refuse hauler- if you have shrubs, trees, or kids, you will use this religiously to dump stuff into and carry it away. Mine is used for typical garden refuse- leaves, twigs, trimmings, etc. and from the quality of materials used and the features (like the clasps to lock it when collapsed) this thing is gonna be here for awhile. The handles are sturdy and the reinforced bottom is heavy-duty enough that I ain't concerned about dragging it around on concrete or gravel. The price is right, and you may wish to get a smaller 20 gallon size for tight areas- I did, and the combination is ideal for anyone with a yard.

Love the size - you can get a lot of branches and leaves in this one! Very sturdy. I like the more solid bottom on this one as you can pull it along without wearing it thin. The holes on the bottom are great too. Love the clasps on each side and the fact that it has handles near the bottom as well as the top for easy emptying. Would highly recommend.

Works well with other Toro accessories. Closure for the sleeve that fits on top needs improvement.
