In short; For the price I just can’t see how you could get a better controller. Especially when this controller is reduced it’s half the price of the G7 Pro and yet is 90% of the controller. It’s a super responsive and well-spec’d controller with hardly any negatives at the price point. I bought the white model just for a change and it looks great with the gold accents and grey thumb sticks. The ‘rough’ dimpled texture on the controller for grip is excellent, the buttons are really nice with a shallow click and the 3.5mm jack is really nice. My only negative is I wish it had lockable back buttons but I also acknowledge that if they gave this controller all the features of the G7 Pro no one would ever buy one! You can tell they’ve held back a little bit in the overall ‘quality’ when I compare it to my Tarantula Pro which feels a more premium product… But again, at a lower price point that is completely acceptable and I just can’t fault the Cyclone 2 for the price paid. If you’re unsure whether to buy one, just do it. There is no way you could possibly regret the purchase unless you have wildly unrealistic expectations. This controller is seriously impressive for the price. The build quality feels premium right out of the box, and the included charging dock is such a nice touch - just pick it up and play, no messing around with cables. Performance-wise, it’s super responsive. The 1000Hz polling rate actually makes gameplay feel smoother, especially in fast-paced games. The sticks feel really precise, and the Hall Effect triggers are a big plus - no dead zones or weird input issues. I also really like the microswitch buttons, they feel clicky and satisfying without being too loud. Everything just feels quick and accurate. The fact that it works across PC, Switch, iOS, and Android is a huge bonus. Switching between devices is easy, and the different connectivity options (Bluetooth, wireless dongle, wired) make it really flexible. RGB lighting is a fun extra too - not necessary, but it looks great and adds a bit of personality. Honestly, it’s hard to find anything to complain about. If you want a reliable, responsive controller that works on pretty much everything, this is a great pick.

However, customization is straightforward using either the built-in controls or the GameSir software, which is available on the Microsoft Store and makes configuration a breeze. On my PC, the controller works flawlessly via the 2.4GHz dongle, providing a stable and responsive connection. I also use it via Bluetooth on my Android tablet, where it functions as a PS4 controller and is recognized natively by COD Mobile. Switching between devices is easy using simple button combinations (Mem + B for PS4 Bluetooth, Mem + X for Xbox via the dongle), making it incredibly versatile. While I’ve occasionally had to re-pair the tablet when switching back to Bluetooth, it generally connects without issue. One of the standout features is button remapping, allowing you to program the rear buttons and create multiple profiles tailored to different games. The included desktop stand is also a great touch—besides providing a convenient place to store the controller, it houses the dongle, making for a clean, single USB-C connection for both charging and wireless PC gaming. While the Cyclone 2 is packed with features, I found it slightly less comfortable compared to other controllers I’ve used (PS4, PS5 Edge, 8BitDo Ultimate 2C). The L2 (LT) and R2 (RT) trigger corners feel a bit sharp, which can cause discomfort during extended play sessions if your fingers aren’t positioned just right. That said, after some adjustment, I got used to it. Despite minor ergonomic concerns, the GameSir Cyclone 2 is a fantastic value-for-money controller. Its multi-platform compatibility, robust customisation options, and useful accessories make it an ideal choice for gamers who switch between devices but want to maintain a consistent button mapping experience. Highly recommended!

Nice controller for pc. It is quite light but still feels good without the rubberised grip. All the features you could ask for. The lockable triggers are great. The lighting colours are not very accurate, and the left vibration is MUCH stronger than the right. Also the charging dock is actually a bit fiddly, in theory it's great how the controller just rests against charging contacts but in practice it needs to sit JUST right to work properly.

Probably the best controller I've ever had? I went through loads trying to find the right balance of modern magnetic sticks/triggers (so no drift) but with the correct resistances for my needs. The sticks on this feel outstanding (precise yet not loose) , the various buttons have a lovely tactile feel and the triggers have equal resistance throughout the pull making them great for racing games. The triggers can also be switched to microswitch mode, which is useful. The lithium battery charge has literally never run out, and the stand pad sits on to recharge looks good too. I honestly wouldn't know it wasn't wired, it feels so crisp. 10/10

edit: While the below was true, I was having some slight issues with the sticks spinning in usage, not really an issue as the movement to do that was rare enough that I rarely notice it; But, I came to the controller today to notice that one of the sticks had fallen off, when I was trying to record the issue to show it, the other stick spun off and ended up with a small bit of the stem falling off. Was looking for a wireless controller so that I could play games across my deck and PC with the same general controls, a dock felt like a bit of an essential, somewhere for it to call home, hall effect sticks make me feel a bit more confident when the time comes to toss it in my bag on a trip. It generally just looked like a solid option. I've had this thing for a few weeks now, the one thing I wish it came with that it didn't would be a quick hot-button guide, so I don't have to unfold a giant manual or keep a PDF on my phone. I did accidentally start the device up in PlayStation mode, which was confusing. Outside of that, the device feels solid, the buttons have a robust and tactile click when using them, trigger stops are only something I've quickly toyed with, but they seem to work well and give a nice solid clicky feedback. Rebinding keys isn't something I've used much yet, but I did coincidentally toy with it last night. It seems handy to reassign the back buttons to functions which would require you to let go of the camera stick in 3d games. No real issues with it, connectivity has been solid, it's done what I've expected it to. The only real "could be betters" I have would be a quick reference manual I can print out or keep around with the controller; The dock is handy but it is somewhat easy for it not to seat correctly, a quick push on the controller will generally push the pins out of the way and let it seat; After a solid day of gaming, the battery is typically 50-60% remaining, so I can afford not to charge it one night, especially a work night, maybe where I have my dock makes me more likely to misangle it, but it is something to be aware of.

This controller is well made, has software to controll the RBG lighting and can create multipl profiles. Buttons feel good, and if you're concerned about noisey clicks, it's surprisingly quiet! The sticks have great tech for no drift. For the money this is much more worth it than the pro imo.

First connection wasn't easy the controller glitched out flashing once and then landing on solid green instantly, not connecting. After a reset of the controller and dongle it connected fine. I then pulled out my switch and went to the change grips screen and poped the controller into switch mode and it connected immidately, it also remebers the dongle and switch connections so switching it holding the two buttons for which ever mode and will instanly connect to the device that was paired. The included charging dock is cool and a brilliant way to show off your controller/keep it when not in use. In 1000hz polling mode and lights on and approx 30hrs of gameplay I have not needed to charge the battery (I have my dock disconnected and in gamesir connect shows roughtly a bar missing from the battery.

Es el mando que utilizo con mi Nintendo Switch 2 y funciona de maravilla. Los botones son mecánicos y de efecto clicky, los gatillos tienen dos posiciones para utilizar todo el recorrido o cortos, también con click mecánico. Los sticks funcionan muy bien y tienen Hall Effect, por lo que no hay miedo a la aparición de drift. Los botones traseros se encuentran en una posición muy cómoda. la base de carga es muy bonita, aunque si se utiliza el dongle conectado a la base de carga, en vez de utilizar bluetooth, este se ilumina parpadeando eventualmente cuando la consola está apagada. Decir que he probado tanto por bluetooth como por dongle y en ambos casos la latencia es muy baja. Es muy personalizable por PC, para luces, vibración, perfiles, asignación de teclas, etc. En resumen: muy contento con mi mando

充電スタンドが結構かっこよくてデスクに置いていても見栄えが悪くならない。サイズ、形が共によく、握り心地もとてもいいし、操作感もとてもいい。接続はとても簡単で、中央のボタン押しながら端末に応じたボタンを同時に長押しするだけで繋がるので、とても簡単。（説明書に全部書いてる）ボタンの押し心地はクリックで、しっかりと押している感触があるので、個人的にとても好き。ZL、ZRはレバー切り替えで押し込みと浅めに反応するのが選べるのもとてもよく、自分に合った押し心地でプレイできるのがとても良かったです。パソコンのゲームからSwitch2まで接続できるので、本当にコントローラーから一個でいいんじゃないかと思います。

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I’ve to say I’m quite spoiled by the dual sense vibrations and haptics so the vibration on this controller felt a bit off but it does the job. The buttons are clicky and feel very nice to press. The sticks are insanely good and accurate. Overall build quality is also good. Software support is also good and lets you customize every aspect of the controller. If you’re looking for a good controller for pc and more, this is a solid choice for the price.

Works as intended! While the face buttons (specifically a, b, y, x) do have a 'mush' sensation, I find it more comfortable pressing (or mashing) in rapid succession over hard tactile buttons. The docking station for the controller is wonderful. Once set, it turns off/disconnects the controller from my PC automatically, to ensure the shortest time frame to charge. As soon as I lift the controller off of the station, it reconnects to my PC lightning fast. No mess, no fuss, if/and/or buts. I have yet to connect this controller to my Switch, but I'm sure that will happen eventually (I blame Crimson Desert for that). Did I mention I haven't even begun to mess with controller settings? Just used the controller straight out of the box, zero customizing. Will I tinker with these settings? Possibly in the future. Is it necessary? Unless you take your gaming seriously (which lets be honest, you should only be gaming seriously if it's making you money), absolutely not. Wonderful product overall, with a fantastic price point for the quality you get. The sticks feel very nice as well! I personally have a hard time keeping my left thumb on the left stick comfortably (due to simply sliding off until I'm using the sticks edge) but I've experienced that my whole life. Definitely not a point against the controller itself, just be aware if you have large hands this will tend to happen, alongside accidentally pressing the two back pedals (they are VERY sensitive to pressure). But since I haven't assigned those pedals to any kind of input yet, the problem is negligible. In a world filled with $70, $80, $90 standard replacement controllers, if you're looking for a slightly less expensive third-party alternative, you can't go wrong here.
