The media could not be loaded. This is a phenomenal voice recorder for the price! I use this voice recorder for rapid note taking between patients. It helps me to stay sharp and up to date on both disease recognition and treatment reference in the future.Best part, there is no delay between turning on the record button and recording. I simply reach into my pocket and pull the recorder switch immediately. By the time I put it up to my mouth it is reordering and there is no delay. Other recorders have a 3-5 second waiting period… this one does not!I highly recommend this voice recorder. I use it for quick notes between my patients. Very satisfied.

This is an average Dictaphone. It is easy enough to use and navigate once you know what the buttons do. They are black buttons with symbols in them so they're incredibly difficult for me to read. After figuring out how to navigate and which button is "enter" it got really easy. This picks up sound from very far away. It's a very raw recording sound which is great for recording lectures or whatever but not ideal for doing field recording for podcasts. There is, however, the option to use the onboard microphone or to plug in your own L and R microphones which would totally change the recording quality. My wife is a coach and I got this to record her when she's telling an inspiring story from one of our clients because I think that will be important down the road. Using this keeps the recordings from getting lost on a phone. The one downside to this is that it takes a few seconds (like 5) from switching it on until it's ready to record. If you need instant and fast this is something to consider. If you have a few seconds to prep, this works just fine. It is possible to set the recording bitrate for this from pretty basic to far better than digital needs to be. It goes from 125 Kbps all the way through 1536 Kbps which no one needs. 128gb internal storage means it will record hours upon hours of sound. Overall, this is a pretty fantastic device.

I was pleasantly surprised of the build quality and recording quality of this little recorder. I think this, cockroaches and Twinkies would be the only things to survive a nuclear war.Easy process to start recording, but it does take a moment to start the actual recording.The buttons and display are great! The menus aren't the most intuitive, but they're not the worst. I actually had to refer to the directions which I never do. Once you get it down it's easy, especially if you just want a simple recording.The password protection is nice touch.The sound quality far exceeded my expectations and the noise reduction works surprisingly well.I won't date myself, but the recorders I'm used to cost way more than this and were nowhere as good of quality!

Just ok nothing special

This voice recorder is easy to use, even without reading the instructions. It feels surprisingly rugged and durable. It's heavier than I would have guessed, which hopefully means it's built of strong materials. It's very easy to start recording- you just flip a switch on the side, BUT there's a few seconds of delay from when you flip that switch until it actually starts recording. Depending on your intended use, that delay may not matter or it may be a deal killer.Also worth noting is that if you play back recordings on this, the sound is tinny. Again, this may not matter. If you're taking work notes and plan to upload them to your computer before listening to them, then no biggie. But if you were a singer and maybe you recorded scales or something so you could practice in the car, the playback sound quality might irritate you.Lastly, while I like how durable this voice record is, it's larger than my last one. It's still small, but if you want something very small that takes up hardly any room in your pocket or bag, there are smaller options out there. That said, unless you specifically need a very small recorder, I think having a little bit larger size in exchange for more durability and storage is a good trade off.Those are the few potential cons I've encountered so far. Whether they matter depends on the person. Overall, I'm pleased with this recorder and am glad I ordered it, even if there's a little room for improvement.
