Ardent Mills White Rye Flour 50 Lbs

Only gave it four stars because I think it’s a bit expensive especially in these troubled times . A little bit disappointed at them to price gouging but that’s what you get when it’s a big company

its a lot of flours but it makes good bread!

I use this rye flour for my natural shampoo. I absolutely love it, it is grounded up very fine so it washed out well. my kids and I have switched to the rye flour shampooing method and It has transformed our hair health. I recommend this company if you are looking for flour for shampooing, i have tried other brands, they are too expensive to ship or have too many flakes that don't wash out well.

Okay so first time I ordered rye flour and in such a quantity. I didn't realize how much 50lbs was...lol had to gift small 3-5lb bags to people for free. Many people loved the generosity.

Works well for whole rye bread.

So much gluten! The bread/rolls came out so dense I couldn't eat them. The dough itself was very sticky and difficult to clean off my utensils. Didn't rise much and was super hard. I know it wasn't the yeast because I made another batch right after with wheat flour and it came out ok.
