This is the 2nd time buying these pebbles to re-plant my plant to a bigger home. I love the way they look as well as keeping the gnats away. My Haworthia plant has grown so much in the last 9 months, he needed a bigger home. The size of the pebbles is great as they are small enough to put all around the plant & not be the main focus. I mainly got them for the drainage & ventilation properties. It's a little bit dusty inside of the bag but nothing that's a big issue to me.

Exactly what I was looking for. I’d make sure you rinse out the rock before using it for substrate, it does get quite dusty in transit. But so far it seems to be working well for my plants. I use it for drainage as well as some light moisture retention due to the porous nature of the lava rock. Will buy again.

Dusty but good pon. Much bigger than others I’ve used in the past.

I was really hoping these rock would float in water like pumice is supposed to but they didn’t. They sank right to the bottom. The rocks are beautiful otherwise, and I can use them for other things in my science classroom.

Loved this. I mixed it with succulent soil and my plants love it!

The positive: - The color of the stone is nice. - A lot less dusty than other similar products. - Particle size is consistent throughout the mix. The negative: - Particle size was incorrect - product listing states 5-8mm (1/4") however what I received was 95% larger than 1/4". Most particles were in the 9-12mm range (3/8-1/2"). - Mix contained a large amount (~1/3) of granite. Product listing includes lava and zeolite. People purchasing this mix are looking for porous medium-low density stone but granite is a non porous high density stone which is not great for horticultural use. - Poor value. This stone is expensive for what it is!
