DAP FireBreak Flame Resistant Foam Sealant, Orange, 12 oz (7565010012)

This foam is really good and it is fire rated. I tested using lighter fire and it did not catch fire, instead it turned black slowly by buring but it will not cause fire.

Used it to seal around radiator pipes. Worked well, and is up to fire code. Landlord required this since its a wall penetration, and this did the job.

Not easy to use, or more precisely it's not easy to use accurately. However, it works as advertised and doesn't catch fire like some other expanding foams. I sprayed a dollop and tried to burn it by applying direct flame and it smokes a little and turns black but it isn't flammable. The applicator is more or less accurate but the foam does drip and is quite messy. However, it did the job and I would recommend it.

This foam sprays easily and expands as it should. I used it in between pipes going from a garage to an apartment. Dries hard but it trims down easily. Good product and I hope I never have to find out if it’s a fire proof spray.

Works great I used to seal a hole where my generator exhaust was going through the wall on my enclosed trailer and I works great... this foam sits directly on the exhaust pipe no problem, had the exhaust glowing cherry red still no problem.. stinks at first as would be expected but then no problem

The upside down spray requirement is cumbersome at best and the inclusion of a second straw is truly superfluous since you are NEVER going to get it clean enough to use a second time. I question the fire resistant claim since the label indicates a fairly low heat tolerance and says it is flammable. Wear your shabbiest work clothes when you try it for the first time.

This is the stuff to use for pipe and wire penetrations where you want to slow fire spread. I was sold on this after watching a youtube video where this material self-extinguishes and the stuff I could buy at the big box store continued to burn. They say it is reusable, but the nozzles clogged on me after one use, just like the other brands I've tried. This is pretty amazing product, I used it at my hunt cabin, where I'm trying to fix to wood stove. There is a prefab pipe going outside and i filled the surrounding of the prefab pipe. I had to use another product to film some holes, that one caught fire whereas the touch'n foam was smoking but not burning. The pipe coming out of the stove was red hot, the prefab pipe was also very hot.
