I bought this for an area off our kitchen and I was suprised! It turned out really better than I thought! It fired quickly, and removed the stained, again I was shocked!

Def gets stains out but need to repeat process with older or deeper staines

I mean if will help with dirt and smell but as for any softening of the carpet or truly sanitizing they need a better product for the portable. Better attachments too. I'm still probably going to get a little green machine.
