First let's explain the quantity you are getting in this package, because the description is a little confusing. See my attached photo for a visual aid. 1 Cookie is the base unit. It is the universal constant of Chips Ahoy. 1 Fresh Stack = 4 Cookies. The Fresh Stacks are individually sealed packets, with 4 cookies in a plastic tub. 1 Box = 4 Fresh Stacks = 16 Cookies. Each brightly colored red Chips Ahoy! box contains 4 Fresh Stacks. The Boxes have the nutrition info and their own UPC. 1 Package = 6 Boxes = 24 Fresh Stacks = 96 Cookies. The package is what you are ordering here. The total weight of Chips Ahoy you will receive is 51.96 ounces. Now, as for the cookies themselves, these are chewy Chips Ahoy. If you're an adult American and you don't know what a Chips Ahoy cookie is, well, I feel sorry for you. Personally with the Chips Ahoy brand I prefer the original variety, but that's just my personal preference. These are the chewy ones, and they arrived fresh, moist and chewy and the same as every other chewy Chips Ahoy cookie I've ever had. Is this a good value? I don't think so at the current price ($23.75 at the time of writing). That works out to $.51 / ounce which is a lot more than the local mega mart. However, you might get value from the Fresh Stack packaging to throw in a lunchbox without having to find a baggie. Also this packaging might work for a concession stand.

These chewy cookies come in small fresh packs, which keep them soft until opened. The texture is dense and gooey, just like the larger version. The chocolate flavor is classic Chips Ahoy, though a little sweeter than homemade cookies. I liked that the small packs limited how many I ate at once. Compared to crunchy Chips Ahoy, these feel more indulgent, but they can taste overly sweet if you have more than a few.

These Fresh Stacks Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies from Chips Ahoy really hit the spot. They're the classic, chewy chocolate chip cookies you probably have tasted but packed in portable, 4 cookie trays that are sealed for optimum freshness. These smaller packs can help with portion control, makes it easy to slip a pack into a kid's lunch, or the box you keep on hand in your desk drawer will have each four cookie portion stay nice and fresh until opened. The cookies themselves have rich chocolate chips and a semi-flexible soft dough that you end up chewing without needing to crunch into with your teeth (like the non-chewy chips ahoy). I think the palm oil is helping keep things tender compared to when I bake chocolate chip cookies at home. As a case of six boxes, with each box containing four of the packets of four cookies, you do end up with a total of 96 cookies. The value comes from all the pre-portioning that makes each four cookie set sealed, portable, and optimally fresh when opened. There is a lot of extra plastic wrapping, trays, and cardboard to do so though. My particular cookies arrived in early July with a mid-September best by date, which isn't a particularly long shelf life but I also wouldn't be particularly concerned about my cookie eating habits not allowing me to finish these in a few months (and I will eat sealed cookies for many weeks beyond a best by date).

In terms of quantity you definitely get your bang for your buck, there are 6 boxes with 4 packs in each. Each pack contains 4 cookies. They are adequately sized for what you would expect from a cookie you would get in the snack isle. The flavor wasn't anything special and the texture seemed off. It could be that I am so used to chips ahoy being hard and so having a soft one just didn't feel right. But they almost seem to artificially fall apart. Personally, I am not a fan of these.

Ordered from Australia. Maybe it's due to the long delivery, but they arrived very stale.
