I'm giving these skates 5 stars because for now, I'm loving these skates so much and they are everything I had hoped they would be. I couldn't stop smiling while skating on these at the roller rink this week. What amazing therapy. Mentally and physically. The fact that the wheels light up (very well i may add) brings me so much joy. I guess I'm having a late midlife crises, but I recently lost a lot of weight and haven't been this "light on my feet" in decades. I've been afraid to skate in the past, being bigger and being older, I was afraid of falling, and more so what would happen if I did. Im in better shape to skate, and I'm not so afraid now. These skates are so comfortable! Lined and padded really nice. The wheels move smooth and perfect out of the box. I didnt need to adjust them. They are so beginner user friendly that I had a good bit of confidence right away. I did practice a few times in my house before going to the rink. So much better than renting skates. Just buy them. Remember to size down. I'm a 7.5 in shoes. I usually do an 8 in boots for thick socks. I got these in a 7 and can wear thick socks with them for a perfect fit and i put an arch support insert in them too. Plenty of room. The thick socks are kind of needed only because I have some rubbing into my shins at the top of the boot where the tongue meets the "walls" of the boot. They are stiff, but thats the only rubbing i had experienced. I double rolled my thick long socks down to create a padding where they were rubbing and it worked fine. I skated a solid 2 hours and no blisters. I've read the reviews of some literally snapping/breaking at the wheels. I guess that cold happen if there's a flaw in the mold, being that these are not solid metal trucks. I hope, if and when that does happen I'll be ready for the fall. Though i really hope it doesn't happen. I love these skates. I plan to go once a week to my local rink. At the same time, i also bought the Jajahoho pink suede ones for $89. They were not for me. They were gorgeous, but so uncomfortable compared to these holographic ones. I sent them back and for less than that price, I now ordered both the white swan ones $40, and the smokey black ones with red wheels for $39. I hope they're just as nice. I know it seems like overkill... 3 pairs of skates. But hey I LOVE them that much! Plus all 3 pairs for $130. You can not beat that! Sure i could have used that money to buy 1 pair of expensive skates. But why? I originally ordered these "cheap skates" as beginner skates to see if i could even skate again before i invested in expensive ones. But now that ive tried and love these, im not that interested in spending $200+ for one pair. I plan to use all 3 i bought, and share with my daughter when she comes with me.

My daughter out grew her old roller skates and needed some new ones for a skating field trip. She picked these mainly because they were cute and liked the light up wheels. She said they are very comfortable and she got a lot of compliments.

These roller skates are pure magic! The rainbow lights instantly catch everyone’s attention, and they glow beautifully with every stride. The motion is incredibly smooth no wobbling or stiffness and I was gliding like a pro in no time. On top of that, they’re super comfortable, even after wearing them for hours. If you’re looking for skates that combine style, comfort, and performance, these are the ones. Totally worth it!

Comfortable, gorgeous and pure fun!

My 8 year old daughter loves them. She got complements at the rink and the lights are really bright. They are really stylish and she doesn’t complain about them being too stiff or rubbing.

My daughter loves these and has become a great skater since I first bought these for her birthday in July. The color and shimmer is beautiful not to mention the light up wheels are perfect for her to wear during the glow in the dark skate at our local skating rink. I do wish i knew they the shimmer shine cover of the skate was a super thin plastic material that has ripped and come off tattered on the skate with her beginning trips tumbles and falls. The shoe laces are really long and have also ripped due to less than perfect lace quality. I’m not a skater but my daughter really enjoys these skates.

Great starter skates. Any negative reviews are definitely from advanced skaters. These are not professional level skates by any means, but definitely do the job for casual hobby level. I’m typically a 8.5-9W and the size 8 in skates fits perfectly. Follow their size guide. Wheels are rated indoor/ outdoor but do slightly better on smoother surfaces. Very sturdy, I’m 5’7 and weigh approx 190 and these sites don’t feel like they’re going to collapse under my weight. I got the light up wheels and they are very bright at night

They are absolutely beautiful, and comfortable, and the light up wheels, they light up really pretty, just like it's showing on the video.

Love my “Barbie world” (as everyone who came up to compliment me on these has called them lol) skates! I used to obsessively skate as a kid, starting at age 5, and I got back to the roller rink on my 50th birthday party. These amazing skates were the talk of the place, especially with the shining lights in the wheels. And the smooth glide is superb. Look, I’m no expert, but if you want to have fun and look incredible while doing it, buy these Queen Bee skates.
