A good piece of kit
I actually really like it as it pretty accurate. The one thing I struggle with is it requires a steady hand to pinpoint the flag. I think there are more expensive versions that address this so if your a bit shaky you might want to look elsewhere. Otherwise a very good product for the price

Very good
I have used this product for sometime now and I must say that I’m very pleased with it. It’s a nice size and the magnetic strip comes in handy

8/10 product
I’ve used a few rangefinders in this price range. This product provided all the features that all the others have but is much easier to use and feels premium in quality.

So far so good
I have only used it twice but seems okay to me. It takes a bit of getting used to and adjusting to the sight. I have yet to use the Slope function.

Excellent Rangefinder for the Money
Excellent piece of kit and really good value for money. Looks much more expensive than it was and everything about it is better than I expected, including the excellent carry case. Easy to use and is very accurate compared to my son’s more expensive rangefinder. Absolutely delighted with the purchase.

This works as good as the more expensive ones. In this price range it worked better than a couple other ones I tried.

I compared the TAKENJOY golf range finder to a leading name brand model, and this was just as accurate both agreed with a yard or so in all cases. The magnification is good at 6X. It has slope correction (nice) with a switch for tournament play. It has a strong magnet that allows it to get a good bite onto your golf cart pillar. But it also has something the big-name brand didn't...USB-C charging of a LI battery built in. This is a great feature, to charge your rangefinder and not have to find a CR2 alkaline battery when you need it. It has all the features you want in a golf range finder. They claim it can range out to 1200 yards, I was able test it to 451 yards. I am sure hunters and shooters might find a use for those lengths, but most golfers want to see 250 and in. This will have no problem. I suppose if you compare it to the top-of-the-line premium brand costing several multiples what this does, you will see some quality issues in the built quality, but for most of the players what they want in a range finder… this has it. And the price point is quite reasonable, and this has a solid well built feel. If owning the big brand name is important, then this is probably not for you, if you want a great deal on a finder that does everything and more the premium models do, then this is for you. Positives: • Great price • Offers all the features of premium models • Slope correction, strong magnet, 6x zoom • USB-C charging! • Solid feel Negatives: • Not a name brand Overall, you have to review an item for the features and build quality against the leading models and of course at what cost. Honestly, this is probably not the best range finder in the world at any price. But it is a very good unit at a great price that has all the features you want. That said, if warranty issues of unknown companies are a concern you might want to stick to companies you know and love. This is a solid-state device and rarely do these break down unless abused. I see this as a commodity item that will exceed your expectations for the money you spend. 5 stars

Used this for the first time today and I agree with everyone’s comments. Can’t beat it for the price. Would recommend buying it.

I ordered this for my husband to use for hunting. He found it a bit small for his hands and the buttons didn't line up for his grip easily. Menu choices are accessed through multiple pushes on two buttons, with a toggle switch on the side for angles. The viewfinder is adjustable like binoculars. He had never used one before and found that while the instructions described the buttons and features available, it still wasn't clear what they did. The power turns off after 15 sec and you have to push a button to turn on again, made learning how to use it a bit frustrating. It was relatively accurate for distances when he tested it. The unit needs to be held very, very steady and there is a slight delay before you get a reading. He was able to test it and hold it steady, me not so much - I ended up getting terrible motion sickness from the jittery view. Holds a charge for a very long time. The indicators are visible in good lighting, not so much during dusk/dawn. He gave it 4 stars, me 3.5.
