Edifier W830NB headphones, comfortable fit.
I’ve been using the Edifier W830NB headphones for a while now. For anyone considering a pair of wireless, noise-cancelling headphones that strike the perfect balance of performance and value, these are definitely worth a look at. First, the standout feature is the impressive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). The -45 dB ANC capability, ideal for use on a plane, in a coffee shop, or commuting. I can finally enjoy music etc without background distractions. The sound quality itself is excellent too, with clear highs, rich mids, and deep bass that doesn’t feel overwhelming. Battery life is another area where these headphones shine. With up to 94 hours of playtime, depending on use, ie noise cancelling will reduce this, as expected. This makes them especially handy for long haul flights—no more stressing about finding a charging port! They’re also super comfortable. The over-ear design, combined with plush cushioning, makes these headphones easy to wear for hours on end without any discomfort, the fit is secure yet gentle. Portability is a bonus as well. Despite their over-ear design, they fold up compactly, so they’re easy to stow away in a carry-on or backpack. They’re durable yet lightweight, making them a solid choice for travel. Lastly, the price was incredibly competitive for what you’re getting. It’s rare to find headphones with this level of sound quality, ANC, and battery life without spending a small fortune. If you’re looking for premium features at a reasonable price point, I would highly recommend looking at the Edifier W830NB, headphones.

Excellent quality headphones at a decent price.
Was looking for a pair of white, over the ear, noise cancelling headphones. Did my research online and thought I'd give these a go. The price was in the price-range(£60-£100). Think they were £69.99. When I received them I noticed they were off white, but that was fine. They felt nice to hold and they enclosed the ears nicely. They actually felt a bit more expensive than what I paid for them. These are a quality item. I took the dog for a walk( this is the main use for them as we have to walk along a busy b-road so noise cancelling is a must. I found that I didn't even need to turn the anc on when I was walking down the road. I normally have the volume at about 3/4 volume and at that volume I couldn't hear the cars going passed. I did try it with the anc on but I felt a bit of the richness of the sound was missing. I've had them 2 weeks now and I still haven't had to charge up yet. (Usual dog walks are 2 x 30 mins a day). Overall, an excellent set of headphones, and I would definitely recommend them to people, especially if they are on a budget, but want some quality. 5 stars

I must have a small head!
I'm pretty happy with these. The sound quality is good for a lower-mid range headphone. My only issue is that they feel a bit loose on my head even on the smallest setting. It's strange because I don't believe I have a small head, I'm actually quite a bit guy, but they don't clamp around my head as securely as my old Sennheiser ones. If I bend over, I actually have to hold them on so they don't slide off. They're fine when I'm just sitting or walking, but I wouldn't be able to run with them on. I can't see anyone else saying the same thing though, so I guess it's just me? Battery lasts a long time which is great, and they stay connected perfectly to my phone. Good value for money overall I just wish they were a fraction tighter.

W830NB - Remarkably good
Fantastic battery life. Very reasonably priced. Extremely comfortable. Lightweight and well-built despite being mostly plastic. Active noise cancellation works well (laptop fans and AC sounds vanish like magic) although the passive noise isolation is so good I don't actually find myself using it that often. Surprisingly good sound quality assuming you want to hear the full frequency range rather than absurdly scooped bass-boosted thumping. Hi-def digital reproduction over USB-C is simply superb. You can't go wrong with these. Perfect daily drivers. Highly recommended.

They're fine.
Sound quality and mic are decent. They're comfortable and the buttons are chunky and rubbery, so the on-mic controls are easy to use. You're not buying something like these for a flat response curve and most customers will have no idea what a response curve even is, but they sound clear and deep enough without too many extremes. They're made of cheap, hollow plastic and fake leather as you'd expect, so that means that any noises the headphones themselves make sound dull and hollow and quite annoying. Right now, out of the box, I'm experiencing a relentless series of little creaks and pops. Ambient mode is decent and seems to work without any background hiss. ANC seems capable enough. However, the different sound settings rely exclusively on an app and that simply will not do when I want to use these with, say, my tablet. My Soundcore Space earphones have no problem with this, so it's a bit miserable that a company can't simply bake ambient mode and noise cancelling into a pair of headphones that still cost around £50. I'm not sure how useful these will be for me across the board, but bear this in mind when trying these things.

My new dailys
These give much more expensive sets such as Sony's xm line a run for their money. Battery life at 96 hours is not far off the truth. The true mind blower is the sound quality, these are actually quite analytical using the LDAC codec they can be relied upon to give a decent sound. You can tell they've trimmed the bass back a bit to help with battery life but the resulting sound is punchy and well formed, it has no issues with sound separation or muddyness. It's really quite a pleasant sound that won't disappoint some most more forgiving audiophiles. You can ofcourse pair to more than one device at a time but you will need to lose the LDAC at this point. They also function pretty damned well with gaming, it seems a shame you (as of yet) are unable to enable the surround sound option on anything other than your phone via the app, unless ofcourse if you game on your phone then great. Would be nice if the setting could be saved in the headset itself and carried across to other platforms such as the switch. That said functionally these are definitely awesome, ease of use on the headset, and via the app is great and intuitive and gives you access to quite a far ranging equaliser. You will definitely be bouncing with these, just don't do what I did and take them into work, I involuntarily started singing and dancing, naughty naughty.

Incredible Comfort and Amazing Sound
I have spent a lot of money on Headphones over the years, including Bose, Sony XM4, even Apple AirPods Pro. The most expensive Apple was too uncomfortable for me, the Sony was great but son was using them all the time so I decided to let him have them and just buy some cheap ones. These are the best sounding most comfortable I have had so far, especially when connected via the USB C cable (as I use iPhone that does not support LDAC). These are so good that I spent hours listening in amazement. I'm not really an Audiophile, so maybe it's just my preference, but with no adjustment at all they sound perfect to me. Detailed and crisp with amazing soundstage and deep deep lows. To my ears these are better than any of the more expensive ones I have owned, and so incredibly light weight while not feeling overly cheap.. its hard to describe how comfortable these are, again it could just be me.. the shape of my head or ears, but they are just great. I do not really use noise cancellation so cannot really judge that.

Left very disappointed.
Bitterly disappointed in the sound quality of these cans. My biggest and most annoying fault with them, were they seemed to have this low volume issue even fully turned up, not just on my mobile, which is a good modern phone (google pixel 8a) but on my PC with a 5.4 Bluetooth receiver, I also tried them on my firestick too and a pad. The only way I could get them to blow out any sort of bass or oomph is to turn on Loud in Spotify, and loudness boost on windows 11 which didn't make a huge difference. I've not experienced this on a set of headphones before now, normally you can turn them up, then push them past a normal set volume and turn up a bit more so they are nice and loud. I like them quite loud, I mean what's the point in quiet headphones? They seem to have very little power bass whatsoever and the equaliser settings muffle them even more. I downloaded the app Edifier Connex and there was no option to update any firmware to fix this issue but a confusing multitude of options and settings that made little to no difference, the sound affects clearly made them sound worse. The ANC wasn't fantastic either I could hear my dad talking to me clearly with it fully turned on, also I am sure the battery life isn't anywhere near 92 hours, the quality seemed lacking, plastic everywhere, no metal at all in it, which to me is a sign of low quality in every department, very lazy design bog standard and large on the head, they aren't comfortable to wear at all, comfort is lacking, the don't fit as well as my old Sound Core Q35 headphones. I don't have anything decent to say about them I returned them as soon as I couldn't turn the volume up. If you like headphones with no bass and detailed sounds then maybe this set is for you, but they won't blow you away, stick with Sound cores, Beats, or Sony.

$80 wife-canceling headphones?
My bold headline is 100% tongue-in-cheek--I adore my wife. These headphones are so good at this price point that it has the unintended effect of making it hard to hear my wife when she calls for me! Nooo! A few years ago I bought some Sony over-ear WH1000XM3s for $350 and they served me well for a couple of years, until they developed a major in-ear *shrieking* feedback loop issue, which made the active noise cancellation (ANC) totally unusable, so I started using them as corded headphones until the headband broke. This put me in the market for a new pair of ANCs, but money is tight right now. So I researched budget ANCs and found the Edifier W830NB after watching a variety of YouTube videos. For $80, these seem to have (subjectively) about 80-90% of what that older Sony pair delivered in terms of ANC and sound quality. I did some headphone frequency sweeps via YouTube and the headphones didn't have trouble with most frequencies. I did notice that while doing a center-channel frequency sweep, sometimes a tone would sound louder in one ear than the other, (which it's ideally not supposed to do), but that's not a deal-breaker for me. The bass could also be a bit thumpier, as I listen to a lot of hip-hop (among many other genres). The headphones did not rattle, though, during the low-range frequency tests, which suggests a solid build quality. Overall, I think these are five star for the money and the ANC. They may not rattle your brain in the audio quality arena, but for my purposes, sitting at my desk and trying to drown out the sound of a loud wall AC and portable fans during the summer, they do a fantastic job. I also like that this Edifier model has a corded (USB-C) jack, which I use most of the time. the next rung-up of Edifier ANCs didn't have this feature. The headphones are comfortable--maybe a little tight right out of the box, but after the foam gets softer, they'll be fine. The earcups feel a bit warm, but I also live in Los Angeles, where warm weather is frequent, and my Sonys had the same issue. This Edifier charges quickly, the sound is clear, and I can work dutifully at my desk. Although sometimes I have to lift up one of my ear cups, just so I can hear my wife. :)

Fone Maravilhoso!!! Nota 1000
