I owned a charcoal grey wool pea coat from Macy's for over 25 years and finally donated it. Was looking for something to replace it (but in black.) I do not need this for everyday, so I'll probably just wear it a couple times a month. . We have mild winters and I usually go with a sweater or hoodie ( which is why my previous coat lasted 25 years LOL )But there are times when you want something a little less casual than a hoodie! This is not a wool coat, if you read the description it does say 100% polyester. I think when they say "wool" they are trying to describe the thickness/feel of fabric, not necessarily the actual fiber content?Anyway, it looks nice and it fits well. I only paid $45.99 for mine, so I'm happy.The one issue: there were a LOT of wrinkles when it arrived since it is shipped all rolled up tightly inside a plastic bag with all the air sucked out. I do have experience with ironing different fabrics, so it was not a huge issue for me. But keep in mind there will be wrinkles!Overall I think it's well worth the money, and a cute coat!

I’ve been searching for a quality, warm, nice-fitting trench coat for years, and I finally found it! Very pleased with this coat. It’s stylish and classic at the same time. Not boxy at all and the material feels higher quality than what you normally find at this price point. I’d recommend this purchase!

This was a birthday gift from my daughter that I wore to New York during the holidays. The jacket kept me very warm during that cold. But the fabric tends to crinkle or wrinkle very easily so it kind of makes. It looks like you are not put together. But I absolutely love that. It has the warmth factor.

This is a very nice well made coat. Great value for the money. True to size. There is a problem with some of the buttons barely sewn on. One has only two strands of thread holding it on. The buttons were sewn on before the lining so I’m not sure how to tighten up the buttons . I’m not going to remove the lining to sew on the buttons . But all in all a great coat until the buttons fall off. Also I might add it’s a very warm coat .

Fit was true to size. Style and quality well made and beautiful fabric. Stayed warm in Paris. Comforting and easy to travel with!

Upon putting it on, I saw one button was gone. They send one replacement with the coat so I scrambled to put it on minutes before the event. I wore it for about 2 hours and found two of the other buttons were about to fall off. (I did not even use the buttons to close the coat, only the tie.) Color is fine. It fits tight, with little room to move through the shoulders though.

Sometimes you need that winter coat to wear for less casual events like going to dinner or a funeral. Because i usually wear jeans or slacks this is the perfect coat. Nicer than a jacket and dresses you up a little. Fits well. Feels great. I would really like it if it stayed in my closet all winter but that won’t happen.

Like the color, as shown. Medium weight, not super heavy like a wool one would be. Cute belted style, just what I was looking for, can go casual or dress up a jean look.
